I might be projecting onto plagg
”James Baxter, who is one of the most amazing animators, still is, ever on the planet, has this chip in his head where he understands not only how to make Belle and the Beast dance, but also change it in perspective, so as the camera drops from the ceiling down to the level of Belle and the Beast dancing, that was drawn by a human being, a mere mortal with pencil and a piece of paper to fit into that beautiful computer graphics ballroom.” - Don Hahn, producer of Beauty and the Beast [x]
what she says: I'm fine
what she means: I don't understand the continuity between Barnyard (2006) and Back at the Barnyard (2007-2010) because in the movie we have Bessy and Daisy who is pregnant and later gives birth to Ben who is named after Otis' dead father but in the series we no longer have Daisy or Ben but Bessy is still present. A new cow, Abby, replaces Daisy and we are given absolutely no explanation as to where Daisy and Ben are. Did Daisy leave? Did she take Ben and find a new home? If so, why? Why didn't Bessy go with her? Did she and Ben die? Or did Ben die and Daisy leave because she couldn't bear to stay? This major plot point in the movie was simply tossed aside for the show. Besides this, Otis seems to have retained none of the wisdom and knowledge he gained in the movie. He goes right back to not caring about consequences and the character development he had in the movie is basically gone. In the series Otis moves right on to Abby, seemingly forgetting Daisy and Ben existed even though Bessy remains on the show. To me, this is a huge injustice as Daisy and Bessy had already been through enough, what with their families and home being destroyed in a storm and all. So what happened to Daisy and Ben? When will we know the truth? WE DESERVE TO KNOW.
Just watched the movie and this was in my head all the way until I got home from the theater…
