Got near the end of writing the next chapter of What's Mine is Yours then realised I wrote Jimmy into the hospital scenes last chapter and then forgot to put him any scenes in this one, so now I have to write him in without making it seemed forced

Patton being trusting in the same way that Logan is literal will never not be one of my favorite parallels between them. They both take everything other people say at face value, Logan in a logical sense and Patton in an emotional sense.
Also love that this is why Virgil and later Janus have such an effect on them. Virgil being very sassy and "edgy" and confusing Logan because Virgil uses slang and phrases that Logan takes very literally, and confusing Patton because Virgil makes a lot of self-deprecating jokes that Patton mistakes for emotional openness. Janus being very theatrical and over dramatic which Logan doesn't understand because he can't comprehend hyperboles and Janus's use of antiphrasis, and Patton believing Janus's manipulation because he's hard wired to trust supposed "good intentions".
can i say something without being cancelled….i think its so odd how so many parts of the bear fandom will reduce both carmy and syds character to their relationship. like they are both complex characters individually and should be treated as such
Recently got back into Sanders Sides and have immediately been struck by a Hospital Drama AU where they all work in an ER. Logan is a doctor who's bedside manner leaves something to be desired. Roman is a nurse who's very theatrical, Patton is a social worker who often helps out patients, Janus is the moody desk clerk who will give people the wrong directions if they ask him, Remus is a janitor who does weird stuff with the rubbish and Virgil is a radiographer who likes being in a windowless box, not talking to patients much and watching them through a glass screen
WIP Wednesday!
Here's a snippet from the next chapter of What's Mine is Yours! This scene is where Richie's grandma comes to visit him in hospital, but is greeted by a very angry Mikey instead.
thank you for tagging me @topgaysbestpilots :))
Last song: don't let me down by daya and everybody wants to rule the world by tears for fear
Currently watching: honestly nothing special, planning on watching Kpop Demon Hunters tho, and both TG86 and TGM for fic research purposes
Currently reading: miscellaneous Top Gun fics here and there, also "The Bending of the Bonsai Branch" by @dr-doomsduck, its really fun to read
Current obsession: bunch of things really
Currently working on: the mammoth plot bunny, followed by less burning but equally chaotic AU ideas. I genuinely dont know what bizarre obsession my brains got with dissecting the undisputed MVP of the Top Gun franchise aka Nick Goose Bradshaw and his friendship with one Pete Maverick Mitchell, but well. Gotta get it all outta my system to operate properly :')
Tagging (if you're up to it) - @bearsinpotatosacks and @towering-book-piles :)
Not done one of these in a while!
Last song: Crazy on you by Heart
Currently watching: Rewatching Brassic, a very funny and heartwarming british sitcom about a group of professional thieves
Currently reading: The Shadow Saint by Gareth Hanrahan, read the first one in the series The Gutter Prayer, so working my way through the trilogy
Current obsession: Reobsessed with Sanders Sides, Tulsa King and the Bear all mixed together
Currently working on: What's Mine Is Yours chapter 5 (meant to writing it right now, oops)
Thanks for tagging me!
to be CLEAR. so many people from the bear are on my I don't think they should fuck list (idttsf. for the uninitiated) most, if i'm honest. but Sydney and Claire? yeah..... yeah. I think both of them should be able to extricate themselves from the narrative sinkhole (/AFFECTIONATE. /EFFECTIVE. /INTENTIONAL.) that is Carmen berzatto. and that they should fuck crazy nasty sloppy style.
looking through old stuff, i dont think spock haircut ever saw the light of day.... til now
The trailer for the final season is reminding me again why I thought Storer should have stuck to his original 3 season arc for the show instead of dragging it out.
this scene 😭💗 their uniforms! the berf lives on!
One last service...
Rewatching Brassic, and in season 2 episode 3, Tommo says "the chiropractor my sister was seeing". He has a sister? Did they retcon this? Forget about it? I swear it's never mentioned again
New photos of Ebon by Yelena Yemchuk
I may have forgotten how to breathe!
Teaser #3
I legitimately don’t understand how people want relationships to happen in the bear. You are trying to buy romance at the trauma discussion store the trauma store does not sell that
The Bear trailer has me excited! The restaurant flooding, the Berd t-shirts (maybe they wear them because their clothes are soaked and those are the only ones they have?), Richie's okay which makes me think the car crash happens midway through? Maybe there's still hope for them opening a food truck like in Chef (2014)
