A few quick illustrations done for a fundraising campaign between Latitude 53 & Mongolie Grill. The campaign involved a competition where participants were encouraged to take Polaroids of themselves inside the restaurant. The winning entry received to tickets to New York City.
During the summer season, Latitude 53 hosts the Incubator Series, which features new work from local artists every week throughout the duration of the Patio Series.

This year's graduating design class held a milk stool auction to raise money for their grad show. Here's the milk stool I handpainted! I think it turned out pretty good considering how shaky my hands can be. My afterthought was that I should have used one of those sharpie paint markers instead of a paintbrush for the letters.. REGRETS.

A tattoo I painted on my friend's back for typography research project I did on Blackletter & Mexican Gang Culture. This photograph was used for the front cover. It's suppose to be a joke on how so many back tattoos are in a blackletter typeface. I kind of want to do a whole series of tattoos like this now. Possibly a tramp stamp in a beautiful script font? Yeah.
A year ago at royal bison! We made a lotttt of prints.
wweeeee. this was my final wood print for the the annual Royal Bison Craft & Art sale! I wanted to add another layer for the background, but time did not permit.
OLD STUFF. I'm going to do a photo dump of a lot of old projects. Here's the 2nd stage of a print I said I'd post a long time ago. I miss silkscreening & school.
A few quick icons I did for a university genetics team. Their logo consisted of orange & green arrows, so I incorporated that into their icons to keep their branding consistent.
I would be perfectly content eating sushi everyday for the rest of my life, even though I hate the looks of it coming back up.. Here’s a little back story about my submission this week. I went out for sushi with my friend Sagal and we had a conversation about how she always tries to eat something that she wouldn’t mind throwing up if she drinks too much. At 3 am and 4 beers later (lightweight), I ended up seeing the value in her thought process. As I spewed my dinner all over the university floor, I got super freaked out about the black strips (nori) in my puke. I literally thought I was throwing up something that was once part of my body and that something was seriously wrong. When I thought hard enough, I remembered that it was just seaweed. PHEW! I hope this story helps you all avoid a mini freakout.
