how the mighty nein would do in a round of narrative telephone. (imagine the mighty nein mailing each other a sending box they commissioned from pumat)
caleb - theoretically, he could recite the story he heard verbatim. exactly word for word. but he's not gonna. he's gonna remix it, add some zemnian phrases that the nein don't know and happily send his sending box to the next.
beau - would take this absolutely 100% seriously. this is her olympics. she wants to get the most details possible. it's not allowed to write notes so she makes a perfect mind palace in her head the moment she starts hearing the story. loses all the details when she attempts to do an accent.
fjord - fucking kills it. accent and all. gets a bit too in character for the rest of the day. the story loses some details and isn't completely whole but he for sure gets the physical mannerisms of the storyteller. used major image to copy the background behind him too.
veth - forgot they were doing this and had been drinking when it's time for her turn. receives the sending box in the mail and has to ask yeza what she agreed to do. watches it, gives half the broad strokes of what she learned, ends up becoming a rant about something random in the end.
jester - wants to do so well. watches the sending box with deep focus but is rotating a unicorn in her head while watching. ends up only remembering the first half of the story and the second half is her fanfiction of the story. makes it into a musical and adds the traveler into the story too.
caduceus - does pay attention. does remember the story. does not fucking say it back. he gives the story in like 5 sentences. then spends most of the video treating the sending box like writing a letter to the next member. hey, 'hows life? the garden is good. come by for tea.' it's actually very sweet. he just doesn't care about the game.
yasha - oh yasha. is too worried while watching and it affects her while she's trying to watch the story. had to restart like five times. buys another sending box because she ran out of takes. one take is just her staring off into the distance with her head in her hands.
essek - kind of like beau where he also treats this like his own olympics. but he doesn't know which part of the story is real and which is added on by another member of the nein. like he would include veth's rant or jester's addition of the traveller because he's really not sure. would make him lose points. caleb pats him on the back
