I literally only have one rule in my writing and it is this:

No matter what I put my characters through, they make it. They get to make it to the end of the story and have everything work out and be ok.

Because that’s the story I need. So it’s the kind I write.

If you want a piece of writing advice: write a story that is what you needed to hear at whatever age your target demographic is. I can guarantee you there’ll be someone out there who needs to hear it as much as you did. And maybe you’ll help them the same way someone else’s story did for you.

Don’t ever make fun of someone who’s deeply invested in something fictional.  Whether it’s a cartoon, a comic, a video game, a book series, or anything else like that.  You don’t know what that thing means to them.  Maybe it’s prevented them from hurting themselves, or helped them get through an illness or a bad situation.  Maybe they met their only true friends through the fandom.  Perhaps they simply just enjoy the thing because it’s well-written and entertaining, and they’ve spent years watching the characters grow.

Let people have emotions over something they enjoy, okay?

And yet - final thought I promise - I'm more intrigued than I even want to be by watching the buddy cop drama of Hook/Henry/Regina.....not to mention getting to watch Colin and Robert act together because that's a damned treat in any universe.

And I think too that I do feel better knowing Emma actually put her blessing on this new Killian for us, seeing a piece of hers in him. I might try to hold onto that - for Captain Swan's sake.....

It won't be the Killian we've come to know and love and watch grow, but....

......we'll see <3

The other part of it too was that old Killian was my last real connection to this new version, besides Henry who will be focused on the mother who didn't get a 'happy ending' not the one who did, so -- it really does feel like the end in that way to my personal connection to the previous years....

look clearly, Floor is endgame ok? that’s a long standing relationship on the show. Bear Claw is just like, one of those dumb flings that the showrunners put in to throw you off, to make you miss your OTP. they’re definitely not gonna mess up CF. i’ll stop watching if they ruin CF.

I dunno, Blee. CF does have a long standing relationship, but Killian has never put his deliciously sinful mouth on floor like he did claw:

Floor is always there. Floor catches him when he falls, never gives up on him, and he can’t help but find his way back into Floor’s opening arms. it’s just the way it is
