Thought it was about time for this; I've been on here for a while, but never got around to it before.

Short intro (list below): Helloo! I'm Lya (they/she), I'm 19, and I've been writing for as long as I can remember. I generally have some variety in my writing, but this blog is specifically dedicated to my whump pieces. My fave tropes include: living weapon whump, long term captivity, recapture, and stoic whumpees, but I like almost everything whump! My first language isn't English, so if you spot any mistakes, please let me know!! Either way, I hope you enjoy my posts, and don't hesitate to send asks. I'm attempting to post regularly; any extra motivation helps🤘I always post just before I go to sleep, hence the name :))

I want them to have been childhood best friends, or old war comrades who survived the trenches together, or ohmygod, former lovers?! 🦋

​whumper knowing exactly what whumpee’s breaking point is because whumpee confessed it to them over late-night whispers years ago when they still trusted them.

​whumpee reflexively leaning into whumper's touch seeking comfort when they're hurt, only to flinch back and remember a second later that whumper is the one who caused them pain.

​whumper gently wiping blood off whumpee's skin with the exact same tenderness they used to use when brushing hair out of their eyes.

​"please," whumpee sobs, using that nickname no one else has ever called them, that name they haven't heard in years. And it tugs at whumpers heartstrings, makes them weak at the knees.

Orororor whumpee who, as much as they hate themselves for it, still loves whumper despite it all. Is so hurt, and angry and terrified - but they still care for whumper.

my favourite trope ever:

charming whumper who doesn't seem like the bad guy

has an upstanding role in the community, or a job that's seen as honourable

incredibly charismatic - everyone loves them

maybe they're too perfect. there isn't a single outward flaw about them

helping others, maybe even supporting people who are abused in the same way they abuse whumpee

can get out of any suspicious seeming situation incredibly smoothly and has an answer or excuse for anything at all

brushes off whumpee's obvious hatred for them with a snarky or smart comment and practised obliviousness that keeps everyone else unaware

or whumpee is framed as the bad one for hating the perfect whumper

whumpee doesn't even attempt to open up about the real whumper, because they know the image whumper has built up for themselves is impossible to shatter

or maybe whumpee has been so manipulated that even they start to believe all these things about whumper - maybe there's something wrong with them instead

Whump RP, 18+!!!

Time for a slightly different post:)

I've been thinking about getting back into roleplay for a while (haven't done it in like 4 years😭), so here I am!!

I'm 18+, looking for someone who'd be willing to rp as a Whumper with one of my OCs (you can even pick which one, or I can make a new one!!). I'm into pretty dark stuff (so the torture side of whump as opposed to the fever side bahah). I would mostly answer pretty quickly and consistently, with some small exceptions.

Main interests (but I'm into a lot of whumpy stuff so these are only a few):

~ long term captivity;

~ manipulation;

~ recapture and failed escape attempts;

~ creepy whumper;

~ hurt & comfort (maybe even at the same time!) both done by Whumper

~ defiant/stoic Whumpee who gets conditioned;

~ living weapon;

~ and others!

I mostly write in 3rd person but I can also do 1st, and my responses are pretty lengthy (but not overly so- don't worry, you won't get bored) since I'm a writer and love descriptions. That's something I'd love to see from both sides, so it would be great to reply with at least 1 paragraph + grammar that is as correct as possible <3

Is there anything that beats a whumper dropping a "I knew you could be reasonable" after threatening the shit out of whumpee?

Something about condescending whumper just hits right. They sound sweet enough to add a sickening contrast to what they’re saying.

Condescending whumper prompts:

- “do you think that’s a good choice?”

- pet names using “little” in front of them!!: (little doll, little slave, little flower, etc.)

- listening to whumpee’s screaming fit, waiting until they fall silent and simply saying; “are you done?”

- explaining literally everything, even though whumpee can understand.

- moving whumpee into the position they want them to be in instead of telling them.

- overwhelming praise for every little correct thing whumpee says or does.

Whumpee held strong. Whumpee never broke. Whumpee never said "stop", never said "please", never shed a tear. When the law enforcement rescued him, he made sure to give as many valuable details on Whumper as he could recall. Officers tapped him on the shoulder, saying "Good job, champ."

And then Caretaker came. And hugged him, ever so gently.

Two seconds, three, five. "Ok, ok, I'm alright, you can let go now," Whumpee say. Caretaker nods and keeps holding. Fifteen seconds in Whumpee's arms raise to hug Caretaker back.

And thaaaat's when the dam breaks. First the lip begins shaking. "I'm alright, really," he says and the voice cracks. He finally cries.

"I got you," Caretaker replies softly and holds him through screaming, and ugly crying, and eventually sobbing quietly. Caretaker's vest gets wet with tears. "I got you."

I've been having thoughts, so here:

Really love it when Whumpees finally figure out that they're loved.

Be it when they're rescued by people that care about them when they were convinced at the first moment no one was coming to save them. Or a mentor figure calling them their kid (bonus points if it's a moment of: "don't you fucking dare touch my kid"). Or a lover coming to seek them out, insisting they care about them and want to help.

Being convinced that they shouldn't open up about their insecurities and keeping their feelings to themselves about wanting attention. Wanting someone to tell them "I love you being around!" Not daring to voice these thoughts in any way, otherwise it might feel fake or like they're just going to get sympathy reassurances. That if they do voice these one too many times, then everyone will be sick of them or annoyed at them.

But the people around them do this unprompted after a while. Maybe because Whumpee finally opened up. Maybe because they figured it out. Either way, Whumpee finally getting the comfort and reassurance they craved.

Whumpee finally realizing they're not temporary like they believed. That the people who care about them see them as permanent instead.

"Tell me something, Whumpee," Whumper says casually. "Have I ever told you my favorite color?"

Whumpee flinches when Whumper's attention swings to him, but his voice is steadier than expected. Just barely.

"No," he nearly stammers, "you haven't."

Whumper grins, slow and deliberate.

"Red," he murmurs, then flicks his gaze meaningfully toward the blood trickling down Whumpee's temple. "Funny how often that comes up."

Whumpee reuniting with Whumper in the afterlife. Just that.

"Tell me, do you scream prettily when scared?"

Whumpee's eyes flicker. They step back.

"What?"

Whumper delights in their reaction, grin widening as he matches their step back with one forward, closing the distance again.

"Ohhh, don’t play coy," he coos, mock-disappointed. "It’s a simple question. I’m an artist too, you see."

Whumpee's gaze briefly flickers to their own coal-stained fingers, which flex to press into their palms as they clench their fists.

"Screams are like... colors," Whumper continues. "Some are flat and dull. Others? Breathtaking."

His voice drops as he leans in near their ear. "I think yours would be gorgeous. Let’s test that theory."

“You told me once that you’re a good baker,” Whumper said in the kitchen.

Whumpee was sitting at the island counter behind them, hand holding up their head. They were monotone, “Why the fuck would I tell you shit about myself?”

“I don’t know, but you did. It’s true, isn’t it?”

“What, do you want me to fucking help, or something?”

“Watch your tone.” Whumper threatened, “I don’t want your help, I want you to do it for me,” they turned around to look at them, “I make you sit on your ass all day when I need to do chores. Why am I doing chores when I could be making you do them instead?”

Whumpee scoffed, “Oh, so kidnapping and torturing me isn’t enough for you? I need to be your slave now, too?”

“Mmm, yeah, pretty much.” Whumper smiled, “What are you gonna do? Say no?”

First of all, @jumpywhumpywriter go to hell... I despise this. I hate seeing all of this, and these are only from my tumblr drafts and WIPs, god fucking damn it!!!

However, seeing how many of these are halfway finished, or almost complete does make me feel better ahahahaha, a lot of them are just sitting there waiting to be edited with cobwebs on them, lots of notes at the end of how to finish a particular scene/drabble/piece so, yes... ahem... lots of work to do I guess... better get on it... sorry, Jumpy, you got to be less organised and less regularly posting if you want to catch up to my level of WIP hell and chaos

Rescued Whumpee at a dinner table with their friends, except they don't start eating because no one gives the cue to do so. When everyone else begins, they take a moment to look around the table, confused, before they remember they're free and it's their choice now.

Really interested in what you could do with the alternative prompt from 'Burn, butcher, burn'! Orrr, if you'd prefer a non phrase prompt for a change, 'Constellation' from day 28?

For the love of me I cannot find the original post this is referring to (completely my fault for answering like 100 years late). I'll assume the prompts are just as you mentioned them, and I'll do "Constellation". So here you go, sorry for the wait:)

"Don't you look gorgeous?" Whumper tilted their head at the bloody figure beneath them. Though Whumpee couldn't get a good glimpse at their face, they could tell they were smiling.

"Please..." Whumpee decided they did not want to see at all—it was enough how they felt the state of their back, the way their skin parted in intricate patterns. They merely shifted, groaning in pain, until a hand pressed down onto their shoulder to still them.

"Shh...We're almost done."

A deep shudder, and Whumpee's nails dug into the ground, making a barely noticeable dent into the unpolished wooden floor. A second later, the cold tip of the knife steadied itself once more against their skin, and they flinched even before the next cut. The sound of their muffled cries filled the echoes of the room through to each corner, like a last attempt at a ritualistic spell seeking a reprieve.

They just needed to take it for a bit more.

Whumper worked silently, save for the occasional humming of songs that both of them had loved. Songs they had screamed their lungs to together before... well, before Whumper decided they adored screaming more on its own.

Deeply in focus, attempting to get their uneven breaths in check, Whumpee shut their eyes.

"There we go." Whumper cooed, and the other blinked up at them. Before they managed to protest—other than an involuntary pained whimper—they were guided to their feet, held closely, almost protectively at Whumper's side as they strided toward the room with the mirrors.

Whumper stabilised them in the center of the room, taking a few steps to the left and inviting them to look.

Lacking a choice, Whumpee did. Their gaze settled on the angled glass in front of them, instantly catching the reflection of the other mirror positioned at their back.

Their lip quivered at the sight.

Angled lines carved in flesh, methodically arranged to form a bloody Orion. A new addition to their collection, glimmering in crimson beside the nearly healed Canis Major and scarred Monoceros. Within the stars, there was barely any space left on their skin—though that had to mean they were finished.

Whumpee's hopeful gaze settled on Whumper's reflection, now back close behind them, tracing the constellations. They found the courage to speak.

"Will you let me go now?"

Whumper's eyes shifted from their back to their face. Their lips curled into a smile that made a shiver go down Whumpee's spine.

"There's no more space," Whumpee whined, tone growing in desperation as they eyed the marred skin.

"Oh, sweetheart..." A deep exhale, as if merely disappointed with the question. Whumper's fingers found their way into Whumpee's hair, combing gracefully through it. A pause, before they so gently pulled it into their fist.

"It would be cruel to limit the stars to just your back."

You know what I think is underrated?

Entity whump. Now hear me out.

An all powerful Whumper who can, with the flick of a finger, warp the very reality Whumpee lives in? Give that to me.

Whumpee quite literally doesn't stand a chance. They're human, and, therefore, limited. Their captor is not, and it's not even quite clear what they are. Whumper doesn't even have to touch them to cause tremendous suffering—though they do prefer being in their proximity, just to see the way their face contorts in pain.
