Timeskip,..2 days..6:15pm
"I'll go out to fetch Ayaka and Thoma now, I'll be back in a bit." you inform him, but as you're about to leave, you hear his voice interrupting.
"Alright, would you like me to come with you?" he asks.
"I'll be okay, so don't worry anymore! I'm doing better." You tell him.
"Okay then, see you in a bit, Y/n."
You both agreed 2 days ago that you both could play a few games and relax today and do a sleepover. Though you couldn't help but notice the small but sweet things Diluc have been doing since the crazy incident, he's been more protective and also communicating more, it just makes your infatuation for him grow.
"Ayaka! Thoma! It's meee, open up." you call, waiting for a response."
"Ah, hey N/n! Wanna come in while we wait for Ayaka, she's packing a few gifts again for you." Thoma greets shortly after he'd open the door.
"Ah, of course. But I hope you guys know that these gifts are appreciated but unnecessary, you don't always have to give me some every time we see each other. Plus, it just makes me guilty for not giving something back in return." you respond, Â making you're way inside to sit on one of the seats.
"It's alright, but, you do know that gifts are gifts and that sometimes, the giver doesn't ask for things in return as it's just of pure sincerity." he explains.
"I know that Thoma, but you both are my close friends, it's not needed.."
But before Thoma could manage to give you a reply back, a voice had appeared.
"Thoma! I'm ready, is N/n there yet?" Ayaka said, moving gracefully out of her space's door.
"Yes, Â she's here. She's just arrived actually."
You had just arrived at your house along with your two close friends next to you. The conversation you three had going on was quite nice, you learned a few things about the Vision Hunt Decree and a certain traveler who is apparently from another world! How peculiar..
Diluc had finished setting up some futons in the living room with some cuddly looking blankets that rested on the couch, the atmosphere was war and inviting.
"Ah! Just in time, dinner had just finished. Welcome back you three." Diluc said.
"Hm~ It smells amazing in here! Is that Miso Soup??" you asked eagerly.
"It truly does smell incredibly delicious, Diluc! It probably tastes as good as it smells knowing your cooking skills." Thoma praises.
You all decided to eat dinner before going on to play a few games.
"Dare! I'm not afraid." Thoma exclaims.
"I dare you to give Ayaka a bear hug." you say.
'This is the best, I know that Thoma has had a crush on her for a while and that Ayaka seems to have grown some feelings for him too. They've definitely had this coming from me.'
Thoma moves behind Ayaka and gives her a soft hug.
It's clear that there was a slight blush there.
"Alright, it seems to be my turn to dare somebody-" Thoma tells as he quickly moves back to his previous position.
"Diluc, truth or dare?" Thoma asks, he has quite the suspicious look on his face and it's definitely something worth worrying about.
"Hm.. Dare." Diluc responds.
Thoma looks at you then back at his target, a smug smile painted on his face. You were sure you're screwed- as if you didn't know it would happen eventually.
"I dare you to give Y/n a kiss on the cheek." Thoma dares.
You look at him, pure surprise evident on your face- but not only were you feeling surprised, but you were surely feeling regret, embarrassment, giddy and quite mad.
'MY DARE WASN'T EVEN THAT BAD!?' You thought to yourself.
Diluc on the other hand seems to be contemplating with his own thoughts as well, blush on his face with his hand covering it. He's probably wondering if he should push through with what he has been dared, after all, there was no serious harm in the dare but there's a big possibility that it would make his feelings for you more obvious than it already should be.
Though, dare is dare. So he makes his way to you and gives you a small peck on the cheek, with both Ayaka and the mastermind himself, Thoma, mentally freaking out of excitement. You on the other hand, surprised he did it yet all your regrets and slight anger towards Thoma had resided, how strange.
'OH MY ARCHONS HE ACTUALLY DID IT!!!' Ayaka, you and Thoma thought.
While Diluc's mind seems to have blanked out, who knew that the ever so intimidating Diluc could go this soft and embarrassed.
You all decided to move from one game to another, Truth or Dare, Twister, Never Have I Ever, 2 Truths and 1 Lie to the last game of the night, Pocky.
"I think the young lady who was selling this had given me a note on how to play it." Diluc informs.
"Ah, may I?" You ask him.
He hands you the small and folded paper.
The way this game works is that you have to have a partner with you, mouths at either endings of the stick. Both must move closer whilst obviously consuming the stick, whoever eats the most of the stick without moving away is the winner but the one who does move away, loses. No other rules of the game.
"AH- How about let's play aNOtheR game!" You tell them, realizing that there's a possibility a special someone might receive another kiss tonight.
"Hmn? Why is that, N/n?" Ayaka asks you, quite curious on why you've suggested to hold off the game.
"Ah- err.. YOU READ!" You scream, running to the kitchen to get some water out of embarrassment.
Ayaka, receiving the shoved letter- had read the note and seems to have malfunctioned and passed the note to Thoma while she makes her way to join you.
Thoma, realizing that he might kiss his crush had also made his way to the kitchen- his face was frozen.
Diluc, clueless, reads the note and also makes his way to the kitchen.
How surprising has this encounter turned to be? I wonder if they'll have the guts to go through with it or chicken out and stall for as long as possible.
It's only 7:46pm, there's certainly some time to think further about the decision.
