it was a crime to make carrie adaption modern. it just makes more sense to place in the 70s. idk maybe it’s cause im thoroughly obsessed with brian de palma’s coloring and think the 1976 film is the best adaption we’re going to get, but it looks bland. mike made it devoid of coloring.
making another adaption meant there was a chance to accurately cast carrie as plus size considering it’s a huge part of why she’s bullied in the books.

At least one of these men, Thomas Partey, is currently actively awaiting criminal trial on seven charges of rape and sexual assault but was still able to play at one of the largest sporting events in the world.
