i hate men

had such a nice evening n cute little dinner date with my gf... everything was perfect, food was delicious, gf sweet and beautiful! my angel! i love her!

then we started walking home. we got to our street and this group of drunk guys came up to us. i happened to be using my cute little rainbow tote bag.

(i started swerving around them pulling gf bc i realized they weren't going to move to let us through)

and then one of them went "oh, u guys just come from the pride parade?! 👺" like laughing his fucking ass off w his friends. u all know that mocking tone.

MIND YOU our city does pride celebrations in late july, so there hasn't been a parade yet. so he did mean it in *that* way, no question.

my girlfriend had no idea what he said (she thought he was asking for money) and she wasn't sure why i was so freaked out, squeezed her hand so much, and pulled her inside.

we're inside now and fine but im just MAD man.

like obviously it's not worth being mad over,, and im not upset or anything but i am fucking irritated. it just shook me a bit bc in the last few years there have been several different lesbian couples getting harassed and/or attacked by random men on the street. and all i can think is holy fuck , that could just as easily happen to us.

Seeing people I know and like using AI is making me understand the protagonists of those old time sci fi dystopia's.

You lived on this planet for decades, you know what you like, there are hundreds of websites where you can type into any search engine " things to do in [area]" and have at least a hundred different options.

"Oh I only use it so I can figure out what to make during the week with what I have"

The most popular website as you type in "recipes" into google have sections where you click dinner- quick and easy and those usually rely on staples + 1 or 2 items. I found 30 recipes on chicken alone.

"I had a writing idea, so I typed a few sentences into Chat GPT and I was able to write 20 pages with it."
