Justice League Allies - Sapphire Stagg

First Appearance: The Brave and the Bold #57 (1965)

I've recently been enamored with Sapphire Stagg. She has so much history and such a strong character, I would love to see her utilized more. Being the heiress to the Stagg fortune, I think she makes for a great Paris Hilton-esque parallel. People assume she's shallow and uncaring, when actually she's quite smart and deeply kind. I mean she sticks by Rick Mason after he's permanently transformed into a weird inhuman element man because she loves him that much. She's an extremely positive presence in DC Comics, and a fun juxtaposition to her evil father.

Being that he absorbs powers through touch, I've always wanted to draw Parasite with dart frog like patterning for his white streaks. I've always preferred a more natural/organic look to his design.

Wonder Woman Villains - Silver Swan

Vanessa Kapatelis First Appearance: Wonder Woman #288 (1982) - Vanessa Kapatelis First Appearance: Wonder Woman #3 (1987) - Vanessa Kapatelis Silver Swan First Appearance: Wonder Woman #171 (2001)

Silver Swan has been through 3 different iterations: Helen Alexandros, Valerie Beaudry, and Vanessa Kapatelis. I believe Vanessa is the best and most prominent iteration, however I think the ultimate version of the character should combine elements of all 3. I love the ballet themes injected from Helen, the cybernetic test subject angle from Valerie, and the personal relationship to Diana from Vanessa. I believe this is the angle the took for the Rebirth retelling which was pretty decent, I just hated the red hair. I'm a fan of the white angelic look for Silver Swan, and I love the big perm! I also added a little makeup inspo from Zara Larsson.

PS: She should have been the main villain for Wonder Woman 1984, as a cold war Russian experiment, playing on the Russian ballerina, but that's in the past.
