Here are some commissions from last year before I got super busy. I’ll be doing more here soon! All done in ink, inkwash and white gel-pen on bristol board.

I love the Granada Sherlock Holmes series so I made these tribute posters that feature numerous (highly accurate) details from the series itself and the stories it is based on. Look for, amongst other things, the blue carbuncle, the Persian slipper, a photo of Irene Adler, Holmes' violin, Toby from "The Sign of the Four" and much, much more! Available in my Etsy shop now in limited quantities!
A while back I did a series of my thirty favorite guitarists. I will probably get back to this and draw ALL of my favorites!
Pets commission for a long time Dark Horse Comics employee who cares for many different types of pets :)
Concept art for a Marlon Wayans and Brad Williams show/movie. I think it’s in production
A bit of Star Trek fan art for my favorite helmsman
Unreleased Autumnlands cover. Not sure when or if these will come out.
Cover for Marvel 2021
Here’s the hand-painted cover to issue 1 of “Beasts Of Burden” that I did at the very start of my involvement with the book. This is watercolor on paper. I hadn’t drawn or painted any interior pages yet. I just finished my last page on the series last night and I am pretty pleased with how it all shook out.
This is cover 2 for “Beneath the Dark Crystal” I just gave Boom a big image so they could crop it however made sense. Everybody dreams of flying, right?
Here’s the first cover I did for “Beneath the Dark Crystal” with the finial version and my preferred version that included the mandala. I get why Boom opted not to include it but I like the way it pushes the background figure into another universe.
A while back I was asked to do 17 (I think) full body portraits of gamers who were going to compete in an E sports event. I had to hand draw their logos, their outfits and keep the pose true to the character and proportions of the players. I think I had a week. It was nuts.
Here are some recent Cat Wizard commissions I’ve done. These are not the first or the final ones of this type that I’ve received requests for or hope to do. Some folks just understand that cats are magical. Dog people are welcome to commission me too because I also love puppers.
I did this adventure time cover this year and it’s out now! I’ll be posting more images of my work soon but this one was particularly fun so it seemed like a good one to get back in the habit with.
I made a Pacific Rim shadow-box! It was fun and you can see a video of it on my Instagram. It was a commission for my friend Alex and it gave me a chance to try a thing I’d had knocking around in my brain for a long time of stacking up images three dimensionally to create a narrative though space in a single piece. it’s not quite sculpture but its not just a drawing either. Everything about my drawing philosophy comes back to my childhood obsession with the magic of viewmasters
I loved the new GOTG movie as much or more than the first one. I decided to do this little set of conjoined sketchcards as a warmup. I’ll be adding watercolor to the original but I thought I might post the B&W version here incase folks might have fun doing their own colors on it.
I made this Jed Bartlet campaign poster to help me keep my sanity and for my own enjoyment. Most of the time I don’t get to make things for myself. My wife and I are huge fans of the West Wing. I often wish it was real, hence the poster slogan. It’s available on my etsy shop with half the proceeds going to the IRC.
