So I had a dream last night where Myka was in the hospital (it was a weird hospital, like half outside. I don’t even know) with a decent, but not significant injury. But Myka, either on the good pain meds or whammied by an artifact, is a little loopy and tells the nurses aaaaaalllllllllllllllll about her wife Helena.
And the. Nurses. Love. H. G. They want desperately to meet this Helena.
HOWEVER. Myka is anything but stupid. And she knows that if she lets them call HG, there will be fussing and worrying and making sure Myka doesn’t go back out in the field for far too long.
And unfortunately for the nurses, Myka is a Warehouse agent. She has no info on file.
So, because she’s not allowed to leave on her own, and only for that reason, she lets them call Pete.
Pete arrives. Pete determines the situation. Pete calls HG. Betrayal of the highest order.
He tells the nurses he called HG and they’re stoked.
The waiting game.
HG arrives flustered and worried and angry. Goes directly to Pete. Where is Myka? Soft little “er” at the end.
Like a lil bit angry and we can’t blame her.
But the minute she steps into Myka’s room and sees her all banged up, the anger is completely gone and she rushes to Myka’s side and holds her face and makes sure she’s okay.
The nurses are swooning.
Myka eventually introduces HG to the nurses, embarrassed by and annoyed with her incapacitated self. HG is confused, and very amused.
But, all this to say, I’m back for Bering and Wells content my OG OTP
And also it would have been adorable and hilarious if they hadn’t been married (or even dating) yet. Can you just imagine HG’s knowing little smirk oh my god
I did the thing
