Another Man's Poison (1951)
6/10
Understandable why people like it but not my cup of tea. Plot didn't make sense and character choices didn't follow their logic. No real interest in watching again.
I speak the truth.

So last night I watched Bette's first film, "The Bad Sister" (1931).
Rating: 6/10
Very heteronormative and outdated, but is to be somewhat expected out of a lot of 1930s cinema. While Sidney fox did carry the film on her back, I wish bette had more time to shine. (Did highkey relate to the "broke, good for nothing" dad slander tho lol)

Whatever Happened To Baby Jane? (1962)
Starring: Bette Davis, Joan Crawford
10/10 rating
Psychotic, sadistic, and yet painfully built upon deep guilt and lifelong regrets. Bette and Joan had some of the best chemistry I've ever seen on film despite whatever may have gone on between the two. Most definitely, in my opinion, the magnum opus of both careers.
My idiot brain every time I make food:
Bette stars in 100 films
So far I've watched "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane", "Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte", and "Dead Ringer".
