MANDATORY REBLOG
This sounds like a lot, but it’s true. An estimated 100,000,000 sharks per year are killed, threatening many species with endangerment or extinction.
Scary predators are important to the ecosystem, too. Conservation’s not just about the panda bears.
Dr Greger’s Daily Dozen Checklist Dr. Michael Greger’s most recent book, ‘How Not To Die’ offers some great (and simple!) suggestions for a healthy, balanced plant-based diet. As part of this, he’s also created the Daily Dozen, which is a list of essential plant foods that you should eat every day for optimum health and well-being. To make it even easier, click the link above for a checklist and planner that you can print off and stick on your fridge or kitchen cupboard.Â
I am officially down to 173 lbs which means I lost 10 total!
I was getting frustrated with how long it has been since I've hit a benchmark but then I remembered that losing weight is suppose to take time! I was use to being on KETO and losing g weight immediately or not eating and also losing weight immediately. Since I've changed my diet to a better and healthy one, I have been gradually losing weight and it took me a minute to realize that that's how it should be. I'm super proud of myself for being able to fix my diet. When I decided to lose weight, I said that my diet was never going to change and that I would just have to work out twice as hard. Ugh I was so wrong. I committed to a change that resulted in a balance between both worlds and I feel FUCKING AMAZING even if it takes me 3 months for 10 lbs. I have high hope for the future (-:
Anything that annoys you is teaching you patience. Anyone who abandons you is teaching you how to stand up on your own two feet. Anything that angers you is teaching you forgiveness and compassion. Anything that has power over you is teaching you how to take your power back. Anything you hate is teaching you unconditional love. Anything you fear is teaching you courage to overcome fear. Anything you can't control is teaching you how to let go.
Vegan Suggestions wanted!
I have to make food for a work tradition on friday and I cannot wait to share delicious vegan food with people who think being vegan would be unbearable. Any suggestions for vegan appetizers would be super helpful!
