I am a misanthrope I dislike human society, not humans.

I disagree with anyone who says "all humans are destructive" or "all humans should die/be killed" and I have blocked everyone who has said something like that in my asks or in my posts about misanthropy.

Every time I mention being a misanthrope or post about it I get called a Nazi, white supremacist, women hater, ect .... which is odd bc most misanthropes throughout history have been far left/anti fascist/anti nazi, like misanthropy has always been an ideology that the right hates so I don't know why Tumblr users act like every misanthrope wants to kill everyone...

ALSO MISANTHROPY IS NOT JUST A NON HUMAN THING??? My friend group [all humans who support me being non human] is full of misanthropes bc we're all poor punks that hate society. lol.

Misanthropes aren't evil.. some are but they're all chronically online and don't actually speak to ppl so..

This dude spammed my comment sections and asks and dms telling me we should "kill every human" and demanding that I start "experimenting on myself so I don't look like a disgusting human anymore" I blocked bro obviously

just know I'm not defending all misanthropes but misanthropy is not some evil ideology that's ruining lives or sum shit.

Dunno if this is exactly what the blog is about, but it irks me so much when people talk about how humans being bad for nature or otherwise pose humans as opposites/separate from nature. Like we are part of nature!! Yes, we shouldnt harm the environment and other living things within it, and so we should put in effort to stop that from happening, but we also deserve to exist here! We arent a plague on earth and the world would be better off without humans, we are part of this and always have been! !! We are not above nor below other species!

then proceeded to tell me that my accounts boutta be banned from Tumblr, common tactic for scammers so if I do get banned this is my last post and I will make a new blog fret not guys

here's why its complete and utter bullshit

firstly I googled this ages ago and multiple people said it was a scam but here are some signs I noticed:

the image in the email that he supposedly received from Tumblr looks as if it was made with Microsoft word

secondly, he refuses to show a full screenshot to verify that the email was from Tumblr, it could have easily been sent from a coworker of his

I reported this bloke for trying to scam me and there was no option for illegal fraud activity fuelling my suspicions that the supposed email from Tumblr was actually made in Microsoft word

Tumblr never sent me an email about this either, im sure if my account was boutta get banned they would contact me about it

Tumblr never asks you to contact their admin or whatever on discord. that just not how it works

Tumblr will NEVER work with the government for anything, they will tell you when reporting an account that if someone is in danger that you should report them to local authorities

furthermore the US government officials - lol im in the UK how very funny is that

"they will not be notified about these claims due to the option selected about this report type" yeah because this report type doesnt exist, secondly, yes Tumblr will let you know if your account is about to be banned or whatever, but he is correct about the fact that a report is not sent to the other account

thus Tumblr will never ask you to contact the other inidivudal when you report someone, its either "flag" or "flag and block"

My name is Dorian, though you may call me Alistair, which is my middle name, or 家和. I am a 17 year old self taught traditional and digital hobbyist artist. I am also a jazz violinist, a mandolinist, a composer, a writer and a poet. I am a metalhead, though I do listen to other genres. My favourite subgenre of metal is death metal and goregrind. My favourite band is Children of Bodom, though I really like CHTHONIC as well. Other genres I enjoy are: rock, jazz, jazz fusion, blues, folk, and funk, as well as their many subgenres. I am primarily interested in science fiction, horror, thrillers and fantasy. Outside of this, I am very passionate about musicology, and music theory. I am also very interested in the fields of physics and biology. A few of my hobbies include but are not limited to: drawing, writing, reading, skateboarding, creating my battle jacket, DIY, foraging, transcribing, arranging, composing, mixing, cooking, watching F1, wearing band t - shirts, collecting accessories, playing violin, taxidermy…etc. I am currently not in any fandoms, I am mostly a passive enjoyer of media; rather than a die hard fan.
