Vice woke me up very excitedly at 4 am to announce that he found and had brought to me a little green pompom. Because I have been trying to encourage him to bring me things that aren't 1. Worms and 2. Mice in order to satisfy his horrible urges to contribute to the household, I congratulated him for this.

I am sure I will regret this later. Please do not wake me up at 4 am.

New today in "social etiquette violations I didn't consider possible": Taking five in a public washroom when some motherfucker walked in with their phone in hand watching videos on full volume. Proceeded to do their thing while still watching the video. I went "Bruh," to no response. They then completed their mission and left. Video still going. And only briefly rinsed one hand. No soap

After school care pulled me aside about my child dropping an f-bomb “without remorse” and I put on my concerned face and nodded a bunch.

Apparently he was building something with a younger kid “who really looks up to him and is just starting to make friends” and said “Hey, you’re really fucking good at this.” which is, in my estimation, really a parenting victory.
