Steadily working on my two game jam visual novels now, and I think I'm doing pretty well! :D All sprites totally done for the one I've been working on for a bit, and the newer one is already to around 2000 words written today as well, plus ui work is going good! I'll probably post it in a little!
And... just to have something to show... the title screen for the vn I'm finishing soon have been made! Say hello to "Shelter THEM Shelter YOU Shelter ME!" :0

Yeah, didn't make it to the Toxic Yuri Jam. (◞‸ ◟)💧
I'm still finishing the game and sending it to other jams though, so not much have changed in plans other than working on another vn too! Because I just cannot stop with these game jams right now, and, not only that, I've been waiting to make the next game for a while, this one I'm showing right now was just a happy accident in terms of the idea just coming out of nowhere! :D
For now, let me just show you how I've been having fun with filters in this game! It's really working in making things look cool where I need it to! :D

I am typing a LOT now in the hopes finishing my jam game in about 10 days and that's a LOT. But I was being quite lazy earlier, so I kinda deserve it. XD
Wish me luck though, I can probably post some screenshots and more art of the game next week! AND I'm starting another game jam project soon too so... I'm going to need a lot of luck to keep this energy!

I couldn't do much during Pride Month due to a tragedy in my family that shook me horribly, and it was literally just days before the month started too. Frankly I WAS able to throw myself into my game jam game at the very least, but that was IT, nothing else was really possible during this month.
It saddens me, since I WAS making something for Pride Month specifically for my characters in my games and such, and I was so excited too, but I still hope this art will see the light of day one day, maybe next year, in a Pride Month where I'm feeling better again?

This song only really "worked" through keeping all the instruments stuff like pianos and similar drums to the other tracks I've been doing, it is meant to be very soft, if a little melancholy in the soundtrack after all! Which is ironic as the character this song if for isn't usually like that, but she DOES invoke the feelings by accident!

All expressions and animations finished for these sprites, and with the writing about to hit 10k this weekend AND some music tracks already getting done, I'm feeling confident that this visual novel is both on a good track to being finished and going to be good! :3

She was tougher to design as I wanted her to be at least a little more masc than the others and I have less practice with that type of style or design, but she came out nice I think!
