Bit of action from todays leg workout. Last week of GVT. 10x6 on the leg press then 10x6 with 135kgs for Deadlifts. Havent done squats or even trained legs in a while because of a bad back. So just took it easy today. Started some German Volume Training yesterday. Never spewed in the gym.....very nearly did today after 10 lots of 10!! Decided to go for a run yesterday arvo....aaaaaaannndd it decided to bucket down. Headed out for tea last night so had to squeeze in a run. Earlier in the year I got myself the fittest I have ever been. Competing in the Finke Desert Race. First time was a bit of an eye opener. Racing 226kms one way across some pretty tough terrain only to do it again the next day. Was a great experience and cant wait to do it again. Mangaged to drop my weight down 20kgs to make life a bit easier. Mixture of #gym and #cardio #earlymornings #flexibledieting all got me to this point. #gymlife #lift #run #jog #swim #iifym #iifymouth

Other peoples thoughts on my training times.

So i start work at about 530am when im on dayshift so i get up early at like 330am and train so i can see my wife and my little fella before he goes to bed. People always comment and say "oh id rather be sleeping". Yeah so would i but if i want to get to where i want to be and still see my family ill do it no question. When people say that to me its like a bit of motivation and makes me think about how bad i want it!! #iwantabs haha
