wally west is so funny bc he was already out of the hero game when barry died. he was just some dude going to college in the midwest. he became the flash bc he felt like he had to and then immediately went balls to the wall insane. within the span of a few years he revealed his identity to the public, dropped out of college, won the lottery, bought a mansion, lost everything and became homeless, dated a married woman who was 12 yrs older than him, and became a feral porcupine creature. this guy could have had an office job.
i’m bipolar and i have never even thought of that before but it makes so much sense??? early 20s, grief/stress triggering mania, bouts of depression between wild plot lines. he’s so me when i have a manic episode except he has superpowers and nobody who will tell him no lol.
