Whoever decided on the collective name for a group of grackles was rude as hell for no good reason, and I propose we change it to “A Grackening” or perhaps “a Gracklesum” my wife would like to propose the name “a Sleeve” because she says grackle sounds like cracker. Thank you for your time.
Hi! Hamtaro: Little Hamsters Big Adventures - Ham-Ham Challenge ♡ 2008 ♡
Since my dog passed about a month ago my world has felt so empty and colorless. I don’t understand how he could leave me with such a big hole in my life when he wasn’t even with me a full decade.
I miss him every single day, he’s everywhere I look. Why isn’t it getting any easier?
I’ve been sad a lot lately, but at least I have this funky little creature to observe (and be observed by)
Devastating loss means you had something wonderful. Loss is an honor. The potential to experience loss is not something we should run from. Yet most of us do run from it in our own way. Most of us fear loss. But the greatest way to live is to maximize our potential to experience loss. We should love so many living things deeply. We should have so many important bonds with others that we are at constant risk of devastation. And when that devastation inevitably hits us, we should try not to retreat to safety. We should do our best to remain open to the potential for even more devastation. We should stay connected to others and through those connections, continue to expose ourselves to loss.
The hardest part about surfing is finding the conviction to get back into the water after you wipe out. You might be able to get back in after 2 or 3 wipeouts. But after a while, your spirit will grow weary and you'll think surfing is not the hobby for you. And you could retreat back to the beach and return your rented board and never surf again. Or you could dig deep and find the resolve to paddle back out there. They say you need to wipe out 100 times in order to learn to surf. You've already wiped out three times. Why not go for 97 more?

Starting of my new series, Candy Rats, with a slight redesign of my jawbreaker rats. Left if the new and old is the right. I wanted to make the colors more jawbreaker-like. Fun fact about these guys. Instead of boggling when they are happy or excited, their heads pop off and float around till they calm down. It's harmless to them of course!

Crying
Horses walk on their middle phalanges (fingers/toes) and can lock their limbs to stay standing while asleep (because laying too long is dangerous for them), they physically cannot vomit/burp, they have a large complex hind gut where they ferment their food, are obligate nasal breathers despite having lungs that can hold up to 60-liters (they only use about 18-liters), they can lock their rib cage while running and only breath with their diaphragm and the movement of their legs…anyways what I’m saying is horses have no room to talk about strange anatomy
