i have so much respect for quick-witted people who can just improvise a joke on the spot. when i tell a joke i have to do background research and rehearse it like i'm defending a thesis.
I wrote an essay. It s about a movie, and it’s about how the world falls apart. If you’re a millennial traumatized by the financial crisis or if you’re interested in finance, you might like it.
I’m gonna blaze this post bc this is the first thing I’ve published in years that was just me, so I’m hoping people check it out.
I know for a fact that if Doug Eiffel knew about Goncharov (1973) he'd be sooooo annoying about it. Nobody on the station would pick up on the fact that it isn't real because making references to movies the crew doesn't care about is just what Doug Eiffel is like. Hera plays along because she thinks it's funny and everyone is sooooo mad about it when they get back to Earth and find the dang movie doesn't even exist
Just so we're all on the same page with the writer's strike.
If during the strike, it's announced about AI generated shows. We are not watching them. Not even out of curiosity. Let them fail every AI generated show they try make.
The human voice can not be replaced by AI. Don't let them try.
of course, the best part of any character's corruption arc is their cool new outfit
Hot Fuzz (2007) dir. Edgar Wright
today im thinking about the huge buff bread guy from kikis delivery service. highly underrated guy
Genuinely just a good man. Wife adopts teenage witch that needs a place to stay in the city? Sure. Even though you got a kid on the way? That’s fine. Cat too? Love cats.
My favorite moment with him is when he goes to get some prepped baking sheets and he does this fancy twirl with them in front of Jiji. Like, there’s no other people in the room, he does this to impress a cat.
I don’t think he ever says more than a whole word the entire movie, and I still love him more than most Disney princes based on this one moment alone.
Do you ever consume a piece of media and are like. This is it. My art needs to get Weirder.
hey uh we disabled two factor authorization on your boyfriend. yeah, on purpose. you can pay to enable it again but until then it's really easy for hackers to corrupt his data. no, it's not a For Sure thing, like someone WILL hack him, but it is much easier. sorry.

Recording today and I went off on several silly little rants
*survives the horrors by being such a silly goofy guy that my presence fundamentally changes the genre*
parents when they watch a film that isnt shot 100% linearly with every single scene being fully explained with a literal meaning
shoutout to anthropomorphic snakes in animated movies doing poses that would normally require arms by creatively using their coils as arms instead. gotta be one of my favorite genders
this is what it's all about
the trick to literary analysis is to get deeply, autistically interested in something
