spell for soothing a loved ones mind
this was a request but its useful for any witch who needs to soothe a loved ones mind, or you can use it for yourself!
a cup of water (for an offering)
rosemary oil (or if you don’t have that any essential oil)
a picture of your loved one
a piece of paper with a pentagram on it
place your cup of water at the corner of your altar
put a dab of your oil of the top and bottom of the piece of paper with the pentagram
place the piece of paper with the pentagram on it at the center of your altar
anoint your candle and then place it on top of the pentagram
put a dab (or more) of your oil on the top and bottom of the picture of your loved one
place the picture of your loved one near the candle (not so close it would burn it though)
sprinkle lavender around the candle and the picture of your loved one
cast your circle. with your wand go around the spell setup three times and say
“round the circle thrice about to keep unwelcome spirits out”
light your candle and say
“let this candle soothe (insert name of loved one) mind
let all of their thoughts be nice and kind
let their mind be filled with peace
the spell is cast, so mote it be”
repeat the incantation as many times as you feel you want to or is needed while focusing on the candle light
let the candle burn out by itself and you’re done!
