Working in customer service I cant even begin to count the amount of times I've been told to be kind to customers because you never know what's going on in their life outside of this interaction but does that advice not go both ways? You're telling me I should take the abuse because someone has an upset in their life that I dont know about? Having a rough time is no excuse to be horrible to people. Even from a young age we're taught to treat others how you would like to be treated but yet still you shouldn't take it personally if someone disrespects you? I will forever hold the belief no matter what is going on in your life you can be a good person. It is literally free to be nice. I don't understand why this is such a hard concept for people to understand?
