Imma just put this here but all your virtue singling doesn't matter (even when its had imapct) when you constantly surround yourself with fur lovers (especially Anna wintour-especiallywhen you make it your misssion to also make sure you're caught on camera stating people should move away from meat or leather seats), Avid zionists-hell even some of the same people that said nothing when exposed to avid racism of blacks (despite always pushing for justice when it happens to him) and anti sentism, Trump supporters, pedophile protectors and endorsers (especially someone who can not leave Balenciaga alone), women, child, man abuse apologist, lgbt bigots, brands like Lululemon that have spoken against black women (for no reason) and Target who has also spoken against Dei (and instead of targeting the main user of it immediately targeted their darker clientle and lgbt) etc. Idk ya'll baby this man too much and I do believe the celebrities you stand by and the friends you keep does affect what you're willing to let slide when it comes down to it. Like damn you can let some things go but dude has a roster of red flags.

And yeah I'm talking about him from the perspective of a Black women and because he the only one on the grid running his mouth on issues he never fully stands by. Little rant as me and my dad did a TCM favorites run;black experience so if you're easily offended by criticism of "that time" probably not for you.

The thing about flim love and collecting as a Black person and Poc in general specifically is being able to love and adore a movie that was produced before the 1970s but coming across that scene were subtle black face is used as a circa figure-especially since it trancends to how they viewed those of indian decent in asia (genie) as being akin to black features. We see it in The Red shoes, filmed ballet adaptation of the Nutcracker, the Young Girls of Rochefort, and singing in the rain etc. (Finnigans rainbow really was never that deep to me even though it was blatant black face because I understood why they made that decision its like Rdj tropic thunder to me lol)

Most movies music based or intoned movies were we're kinda just reminded that "yeah they really fucking hated us". And although I really do like those movies especially when led by an act/ress who would really push for civil rights etc it really does take away the illusion of the movie for most of us when ever we come across the particular scene. Its so embedded and what the culture was that my counterparts when I was in film classes didn't even see the masks or drawings but I'm able to see them as soon as they show on the screen. Its very important in the sense that although the movies have NOTHING to do with poc(didn't even have poc extras) it was still used as a dogwhistle to push separation.

I just think its interesting to see when I watch these movies back with him because yeah Many put their careers on the line to support and advocate but their was always someone on set that tried just as hard not too! And since I was born way later I am a little stingy with who I give props too cause I get to see if from a lense of they could've should've done more etc but the others truly got to reap the benefits of what they accomplished for poc. And then Black/Latin people got to help others get there too

- also I don't feed into the it was a different time or norm narrative because it was not the wanted norm for the people actively oppressed in the time. Everyone was affected poc to even white people who were killed and black balled for daring to be "race traitors" it wasn't just a "different time" for my 79 year old (momside) grandma. one of the main reasons she wasn't allowed to watch movies was this exact reason and it affected her until she turned 54 and decided to buy a tv. EVERYONE knew better.

Me after seeing screenshots of a og character insert x black panther and it gave "I can take your man cause I'm white" also seeing this alot with the act/ress from stranger things even before any rumors came out revolving marvel. Like they literally drag us into the business. Most self inserts done by woc don't even like putting racist events in their art creations but you'll see alot of judgement coming from the black women characters in fanfic when a moc is dating outside his race.

Like I know not take media literally and thats its a movie at the end of the day but alot of these people literally went into real life believing it was OK what the avengers were doing. And I have to wake up knowing that over in starwars land theres people who support the literal empire-and its not because their villian line up is goated. I can not stress enough all the fandoms, comics, movies, books etc have been based on real life events that pushed the author/creator to inspiration.

Me explaining- that the Hal Jordan to John Stewart pipeline wasn't because people thought Hal Jordan was an asshole but more along the lines that some weirdo fuck used him for his own fantasy so over the course of the years he was slowly fazed out for John Stewart especially in child facing cartoons and comics and thats why we no longer see him as much despite him being a huge fan favorite for super long time- to my sister like its the weather.

Ok, so what I think is going down (isn't really anti, but since some wanda fans are weird and don't respect anti I’ll still put it here in case)

Billy and Tommy are fake. They are still "fake ass children " as ya'll say- but they do have timelines in the universe, just not at the time wanda had opened the hex (as rio said they exist, but they aren't supposed to be in the cycle yet)

Which means they were both going to be born but most likely to other parents or under other circumstances ( see dr.strange - not all lives are complete copies of eachother)

But since wanda specialized in reality magic, everything inside of the hex was real/ vs real reality outside of the hex(see when vision started dying when he tried to leave the hex)

So since Billy was awake when the hex started to close he freaked out and used his "real magic" (because inside of the HEX we can assume it was REAL) to escape since he saw doom ahead. (Agatha saying he saw a chance and took it)

That's why rio is mad.

Now that Billy is real since he vividly remembers Tommy (ptsd due to fear let's say) he is actively trying to get him back but since the hex closed HIS Tommy does not currently exist at all.

This is why when he's trying to "find him" agatha is basically pushing him to craft him (what he looks like, sounds like, where he is) and he starts freaking out cause he states that he doesn't know if he was "finding him" or killing someone to "get" him.

So Billy made HIMSELF AND HIS brother real boys (also goes back to why RIO does not want them there), basically. Because if Billy was fully sentient or real, wanda would've been able to find him instead of harassing other hardworking mothers. They existed on the same plane- in the same universe, but she was never able to find Billy despite that.

Which really is just more plot holes fr.

Just an update I did watch the series, and God, it really was useless. Like all the other MCU shows that have come out thus far, they really missed out on some key writing points and left tons of plot holes.

I really like that they were selling the whole EVIL thing, but their commitment to dropping little hints that she wasn't actually evil just to walk it back was annoying, too.

Same with Billy, why is he HOT N COLD. LIKE MOOD CHANGES THAT HAPPEN WITHIN SECONDS OF EACHOTHER.

Thinking about all those youtubers and streamers who generally stayed nonpolitical as not to alienate anyone but who absolutely could not handle it when that hogwarts game came out and their progressive audiences were telling them to maybe not play/review that one and they'd throw a fat tantrum like "no you don't get it it's my job this is the biggest game of the year I can't not play it" and now we're a few months along and fucking nobody is talking about it anymore cause it wasn't even good. There is a reason the most successful actors and writers have individual businesses and everyday jobs. There is a reason you also see some sort of mentor ship and sidelong project planners with new upcoming actors and actresses.

Sans any misconduct people have been KNOWN to give warnings of Hollywood and holding YOURSELF down when you are financially able to do so! Intentionally paying higher thresholds for their friends, so come their next project, they can "rationally" raise the offering!

There's a reason most directors or box office holders like the Wayans brothers, Adam Sandler, Jamie foxx, Ben stiller, Robert Downey junior, Andy samberg, Wes Anderson hell even Tyler perry (despite my personal views of some these people-these are just examples of media i've encountred and not really a inclusive indepth list) also hire the same cast and people and you see the reported results of how well they are taking care of and appreciated with luxuries and offers!

Like these people have been telling is for years in interviews that this isn't a lucrative business (all encompassing the fees bills expenses, etc, that they have to self provide outside of funding). And idk how many actresses have to continuously state that all those cute fancy dresses set or carpet they were, they literally won't even be able to cover the cost to own it for real, and they get by from those media presences endorsing perfume and even doing shitty AMC commercials etc.

Like ya'll know how tlc had to explain why they were broke??!! And then the writer and creator of squid game after all the rah rah media is still struggling!?!?

I’m seeing a lot of information being passed around about the SAG-AFTRA strike and have already seen this line of questioning on Twitter so I thought I’d address what this means for Broadway actors as I understand it;

Many of your favourite Broadway actors work in film, television and other fields of acting outside of Broadway and do have SAG memberships and thus ARE currently on strike

HOWEVER

Broadway actors are also apart of the Actors’ Equity Association - typically known as Actors’ Equity or just Equity - this is a SEPERATE union

Broadway actors apart of Equity are signed and working under Equity contracts for the productions they are starring in

As they are working under different union contracts, if you see Broadway actors going to their jobs, performing as usual, promoting upcoming theatrical work, etc. - They are NOT scabbing or crossing the picket line as they are not under SAG-AFTRA contracts

Broadway actors are complying with their Equity contracts and to do so would put their jobs in jeopardies

Remember, the people who comprise Broadway productions are not just famous names but are comprised of many hard working actors who do not have the status or recognition of their more notable co-stars and should NOT be shamed under the guise of false information

HOWEVER

If you see Broadway actors signing onto new screen productions, promoting upcoming screen work, and breaking any of SAG-AFTRA’s strike rules, then it is up to your discretion if you want to bring this to people’s attention

I would like to make it clear that I am NOT an expert nor a professional working on Broadway, this is all information I have gathered from discussions from people involved in the industry. I am only making this post as I have yet to see anyone else address this and have seen some people be confused about what Broadway actors are currently doing in this moment so I hope to help clear things up.

If there is any information I have misunderstood, failed to share or falsely spread, please feel free to correct me and I will update this post.

TLDR: Broadway Actors are not crossing the picket line by continuing to perform in their current theatrical roles as they are under Actor’s Equity Contracts which is a seperate union to SAG-AFTRA
