i remember, at least at the time, a lot of people unhappy with the retconning of Callen's backstory but fuck if it doesnt make sense. i mean we've seen him beat up, shot, tortured, and probably other shit i don't remember, but i don't recall it ever having a major impact on him? (someone correct me if im wrong ofc) not much of him having to "get back in the saddle" or any of that stuff.
and i mean the whole shit with his childhood, wherever they're going with it, it makes sense. child soldier, taught to withstand pain and stuff = not major emotional whump after injuries. it makes my brain crinkle.
watching the season 6 premiere of seal team has me in fucking shambles i am in tears literally every scene hurt me so bad and i want to die waiting for the next episode.
ive watched a lot of shows in different categories and genres but i can easily say that it was easily one of the best things ive ever watched.

I have so many episodes that I think really show their bromance so apologies in advance if this list is too long š But at least it'll give you plenty of things to watch!
Also if anyone thinks I'm missing some, I know I am, please feel to add to this list! I don't watch s4/5 much because they aren't my favorite seasons so there's not really any I can think of off the top of my head ā¤
1x19 - It might be odd to put one where they fight for most of the episode but I love how at the end they give each others these nods of understanding? That due to a tragedy and realizing how fragile life is, they can put aside their differences to be brothers in that moment.
1x24 - Itās right after Hallie's death, Matt is telling Kelly how he went to her families house and Kelly tells Matt how sorry he is. Itās just nice to see them actually expressing their feelings together.
2x10 - After Matt almost gets killed during a save, aka the first time he gets a head injury, Kelly is right on top on him in the Ambo trying to help save him and it's truly the angstist whump ever.
3x02 - Itās a great Sevasey episode overall. Kelly returns after Shays death because Matt is one who was able to get him back from Benny's cabin in the first place. But when Matt realizes that Kelly canāt handle going back to their apartment. Matt helps clear her stuff out and without hesitation tells Kelly he can stay at his place which starts the now long tradition of them living together.

6x04 - When Matt loses his tie right before his Captian's ceremony, Kelly gives him his without a second thought.
6x12 - The absolutely ICONIC scene of them jumping off a exploding building into the river. As soon as Kelly wakes his first thought is Matt. Those two really would do anything and everything together...
7x01 - Matt damn near kills himself on a call and Kelly is not only insanely worried but is also the first to call him out on it.
7x10 - When Matt's apartment is destroyed in a fire, Kelly finds Matt getting things from his locker in the firehouse and Kelly hands him a key to loft and tells Matt to go take a shower there, take any of Kelly's things he needs that that the loft his home for however long he needs it.
7x12 - I just really love when they team up and play Detectives together, itās so funny honestly and I adore seeing how well they work together, how they know what each other is thinking without saying it.
8x11 - This is purely for the moment where Matt starts to go after the Lieutenant in the other house that they end up at due to the pests and Kelly holds him back.
9x03 - In one of their classic cigar chats, this time itās Casey telling Severide about Brett. Itās also just Casey getting relationship advice from someone who has grown so much, from barely being able to keep a steady relationship to having a one of the most stable relationships on the show.
9x09 - Kelly is talking about how he ādoesnāt deal well with changeā when talking about Stella buying new things for the apartment and then Matt offers to move out if he and Stella need to space to which Kelly immediately replies with āDidnāt I just say that I donāt deal well with change?ā
9x16 - It's right after Kelly proposes to Stella, Matt tackles the both of them into massive hugs and later on Kelly asks Matt to be his best man. Matt genuine excitement for his friend is everything to me!
10x05 - Matt leaves Chicago, his hug with Kelly at the end... It makes me sob.
