one more for the ctl x vtm crossover.
hear me out: changeling the lost meets the parent trap meets vampire the masquerade (kinda?? not really). in which you have fae-touched parents who rescued you from the hedge, but you come to find out that in the meantime your parents divorced and your mother has kept custody of your fetch since childhood. at this point she doesn't have ther heart to dispose of the fetch who took your place, and when you eventually meet, you both decide to treat each other as twins.
and all is well, until one day you're napping in your dorm room only to be woken up by a frantic call from your fetch, who says your mother has caught the eye of the freak charming gentleman who just moved next door, who says he works night-shifts and is essentially m.i.a during the day. there's something seriously wrong with this new guy mom's seeing, your fetch says, and she's acting weird too. come here and help me figure this shit out.
said man, aka mom's new situationship, is a vampire trying to sweet-talk his way into your family for a steady blood-source, and it's a slow realization that you and your fetch "twin" will come to while sticking your nose where it doesn't belong (aka investigating the guy). and then it's time to pull every trick (especially of the fae variety) up your sleeve to ensure the man stays away.
on the other side, we have a vamp looking for a steady source of vitae while maintaining the masquerade. and what better way to do that than to charm his new neighbor, worm his way into her little family? it should be easy enough- except it isn't. if one kid giving him a hard time wasn't enough, turns out there's another one who shows up out of nowhere. and even if they're twins, there's something uncanny about the way the way they're identical down to the fingertips even if they present themselves so differently, something he can't quite put his finger on. yet. no matter how hard he tries, he can't get the little shits to like him, and it's becoming pretty clear they don't want him anywhere near their mom.
