BATMAN v. SUPERMAN: Dawn of Justice REVIEW
BvS was a real treat to many comic book fans, because we all got to see two iconic figures together on the big screen! FINALLY! With that being said the first hour or so before “the fight” the movie kind of drags and is quite boring, unless you are an avid fan of the comics and you catch some of the easter eggs spread throughout. When we finally get to the fight it’s everything we hoped for. The way the two end up fighting is a really fun and exciting experience. As cool as the fight is the ending to the fight is kind of corny but Ben Affleck’s acting in this scene is great! The cast for the most part was superb. Ben Affleck’s take on Bruce Wayne/Batman was my favorite. The way we are introduced to his character at the beginning is almost like a horror film, which is cool because Batman is meant to strike fear to the bad guys and you kind of get that feeling. Henry Cavil as Clark Kent/SUPERMAN was great, definitely a more enjoyable performance in this go around than Man of Steel. Jesse Eisenberg WAS CREEPY/AWESOME and INCREDIBLE! When I first heard of Eisenberg being cast as Luthor I thought “NO GOD PLEASE NO!” Boy was I wrong! I loved his take on the character. Probably my most favorite part of the film would have to be WONDER WOMAN. Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman totally stole the show! Im super excited for the WONDER WOMAN film that comes out in 2017 now! Seeing the trinity (BATMAN,Superman, and Wonder Woman) on screen was pretty awesome. With all that being said I’d have to give this film a rating of 3 and 1/2 kryptonite spears out of 5.
