KinnPorsche Fanfiction Recommendation List

When I started reading KinnPorsche fanfiction, there were barely 500 fics out there but then the series got famous and fics started flooding in at an unprecedented speed. Now there are more than 3000. I lost quite a few fics because I didn’t think to mark them out in time. Then I tried bookmarking but my bookmarks were already a mess so while it was better, it didn’t exactly help. That’s when I got the idea of maintaining an online document. Every fic I got interested in, I copied the link and put it in there with a few tags and a little comment.

I didn’t even think much about it until my friend asked me for KP fanfic recommendation and I gave her a link to this file. She yelled at me for not thinking to share it before this. When she calmed down enough, she told me to post it online. I hadn’t thought to do it before but once the idea was in my head, it wouldn’t leave. I felt like some fancy art collector absolutely enamoured with the idea of sharing what I had collected with the world. So here it is,

It’s not complete. There are many many more fics I have tucked around every nook and cranny of my online presence that I need to sniff out. VegasPete ones are not here yet (except for 2 new ones that I found interesting but haven’t had the chance to read yet) and so are the minor ship ones. I’ll get around to that sometime later this week. Even apart from that, new fics are still flooding in every hour.

Hello....we miss you on A03?!

Hi! i miss myself on ao3 as well 😭 but life is just really fucking hectic rn. every minute of spare time I have, I spend on studying for job exams and when I can't do that anymore, my brain is usually too fried to get any words out. i still do write sometimes but not enough to be able to put it out. hopefully tho, these little bits will start to add up and I'll be able to update at least one of my works. i hope you'll be able to wait until then. sorry!

Okay, so I’m reposting with an last interview Diane did a few months before her death:

It couldn’t be done, said the others. I don’t know…. But one could give it the ol’ college try. Thinking the outcome would be staying between the three of us [the editors of Grup and herself], I decided to accept the challenge. Thus, “A Fragment Out Of Time.” Which lo and behold the girls thought was for publication…. Once the tooth-paste is out of the tube just try returning it. The girls had printed the little vignette before asking if I wished to use a nom-de-plume. Then the letters started arriving…. Whee…. Phew!!! Amongst which were two I’ll never forget. Two ladies (Gerry Downes & Leslie Fish) actually “asking” my permission to use the hypothesis. Gosh, I was tickled. Even if, as far as I could see, it wasn’t mine to give. The subject was a universal constant (not mine). It was there in the aired episodes. I just gave it a public voice of fandom. Really, I had nothing to do with the initial concept, as it was there unfolding on our screens as we watched our beloved Star Trek. Me, well—I just accepted a challenge and attempted to subtly present the idea deftly (with slight humorous overtones) as a scenario which most could find acceptable at that time.

This is literally where the term ‘slash fic’ came from. This, right here. A story that was never meant to be published that sprung up from a conversation between friends. (Though she was undoubtedly not the first to write a story, she was, however involuntarily, the first to publish one).

Hi, i just wanted to say I love all your fic. I read them all and can't stop thinking about them, the finished ones and the WIPs.

This is the first thing I saw when I woke up and I have been floating about since then. wdym you mean you read everything and you liked everything????? you can't stop thinking about them???? this is like the best compliment ever. anyone else feel like it is Thyme rewriting the narrative instead of Great? because right now the vibe is more of Thyme feeling regret towards the naive boy who became a collateral than of Great trying to do better.

also the relationship status doesn't really add up to what we have seen so far. we've seen visions of them holding hands in the car and of that alternate writing on the cup and there was literally no possibility of either of those things happening in the version of the story we were given today

Let me just start off by saying that I am a devout follower of everything you write. I love your stories. They are are always so poetic, almost like a movie in words, especially the way you describe your characters and their feelings. Having said that, I'm here to talk about your recent work. I had read the little snippet you posted before so I thought 'okay, she has already hurt me in all the ways she can hurt. what could she do more? the story is surely going uphill from here'. But No! I was wrong. This chapter hurt. This chapter is still hurting so bad. Even knowing that Porsche came back in time, that it is going to be a happy ending, you have ruined me Bleaks! and I didn't even make it to the end of the chapter yet! It was already so sad and heartbreaking to read about Porsche's thoughts but the image that is going to stay with me forever is of an older version of him, beard and ruined suit and salt-pepper hair, his hands red from blood, smoking cigarette after cigarette as he holds vigil over Kinn's dead body. I bawled reading that paragraph and then you just went ahead and wrote “Promise me that next time too, you’ll crash into my life just like you did in this one and that you’ll be just as easy to love as you were in this one.” and “I really wanted to grow old with you, you know.”, he whispers, finally voicing the deepest wishes he had kept in his heart for so long.' No care, no consideration for us poor souls out there. I am a little bit crazed from grief here so forgive me but I really had to come here to complain 'cause wtf. I think I need to take a break before I go back and read the rest of it. Thank you for writing this but honestly, how dare you do this to me?!

see. . . when i initially wrote it for gta, it was a trial to see if i can write angst or not. turns out i can. so then i wanted to see how much of it i could write so i tried writing more of it and turns out i enjoy it immensely and am addicted to the genre now, so much so that fluff is a bit hard at the moment. so yeah. loads of crying ahead until you can laugh again. buckle up and grab an extra pack of tissues for good measure.

Dear author i just discovered "You were written in the stars" I just wanted to tell you how beautifully written it is. I found myself sighing and smiling like a lunatic in some. Very well written and I love the original storyline. I cant wait to read more of their love story and I hope they find their happily ever after especially after what they've experienced in life. Thank you for taking the time write this little gem.

the first chapter is everything i want in a storyline, like the rest of your work.... Superb...My only worry is ....will you complete it?! I've followed your work because I'm a big fan but my heart would be broken if you don't complete it.

The plan so far is that. see, I won't lie. I take a lot of time to upload chapters but because i have left stories unfinished before, I don't post stuff anymore where I don't already have a clear outline of the plot or am not feeling enough motivation to finish it. it might be a bit slow but rn, i am working on the next chapter to crimson hues so it will probably be up after i post ch 10 of written in the stars

Any plans on updating " you were written in the stars"?

well I have the chapter. but what I don't have is a significant chunk of uninterrupted time to edit it out and upload it. there's a lot to edit this time around and doing it only when I have bits of free time available has been slow going. I can't give an exact date as to when it will be finished but it should be pretty soon.

thanks for still being interested in the story and sorry for being so late. in the meanwhile, if you want, you can give my other stories a read in case you haven't yet.
