“I can fix him” good for you. I can be the character in his life who he distorts and reduces to a mere metaphor that serves his own needs and desires, robbing me of my personhood and stripping me in his mind of everything about me he once loved in the first place until he resents the shell of myself that he himself turned me into and I ultimately abandon him for the love of the very type of person he hates most because they are in fact the one who saw me as a person and not an ideal and in the end he is left alone with nothing, not even the clever quips and individuality complex he once wore as a shield
