Make a date for your diary! The first ever Bedminster Festival of Gardening takes place from Monday 8 to Sunday 14 June 2026.

A week full of gardening fun. Activities are taking place every day including expert talks and advice, community gardening sessions, art installations and gardens to visit.

2026 Good Front Garden Award design - the winner is...

Thank you to everyone who submitted a design for this year's Good Front Garden Awards. We loved all the designs and are glad we didn't have to make the difficult decision of choosing just one.

The public have now voted and they've chosen Rosalind's design for the 2026 Good Front Garden Award poster.

Judging for the Front Garden Awards will take place between Saturday 13 June and Sunday 5 July. We're currently recruiting volunteers judges - if you'd like to help give out awards please get in touch.

Volunteers can carry out their judging anytime between these dates, but judging must be completed by Sunday 5 July.

We're recruiting volunteers for this year's Good Front Garden Awards.

Judging will take place between Saturday 13 June and Sunday 5 July. Volunteers can carry out their judging anytime between these dates, but judging must be completed by Sunday 5 July.

Help choose the Good Front Garden Award design

Could you design this year’s Good Front Garden Awards?

This summer the Greater Bedminster Good Front Garden Awards will return. We’re now inviting entries for the design of this year's Award. Now in its 22ndst year, each summer volunteer judges give out thousands of awards across Ashton, Ashton Vale, Bedminster, Bower Ashton, Southville, Marksbury Road and Windmill Hill to say 'thank you' to those who's front gardens are making a green and pleasant contribution to the neighbourhood.

The design of the award should be on A4 size (it can be portrait or landscape). It should contain the words 'Good Garden Award 2026' and there should be a space to include the Boardwalk logo who are supporting the awards again this year. 

We’d would love to see a colourful award design that stands out in people's windows. Design submissions should be emailed to [email protected] by Thursday 30 April. The winner will be chosen by a public vote in May. The awards will be given out in June.

Bedminster’s Secret Gardens in back in 2026 as the finale to the first ever Bedminster Festival of Gardens (8-14 June). If you’d like to open your garden please complete our expression of interest form. The deadline to be guarantee inclusion in our printed Secret Garden’s guide is 31 March 2026. Late entries after this date can be included in our online information,

Please note Secret Gardens will be having a rest year in 2027.
