Making a new pinned because the old one really feels outdated.

Hellooo! I am Circle, austrian, I am trying to learn hungarian, I am nonbinary, polyamorous, possibly autistic (everyone around me, diagnosed or not, thinks so) and I am here for art and some feeling of online community.

I struggle with myself a lot, I used to be a lot more socially direct but I've started to feel more overwhelmed socially due to real life stressors. I still appreciate and love when people send messages. :)

I don't have a system of tags on here unfortunately, even though it would be really practical. I just don't post that much myself, I reblog mostly.

The interests that have been with me for a long time are Disco Elysium, penguins and blue circles. I really love blue things, if anyone has something beautifully blue they've seen, please show me!!

I also love Deltarune, I have a bluesky but I reblog so much more nsfw over there, so be warned. (bluestcircle.bsky.social) Unfortunately I also post most of my art on bluesky, so that's a bit crummy for people who don't wanna see nsfw.

I also love Hollow Knight, Dialtown, Inscryption, TADC, The Portal Games and many many more thingssss. :)

Writing an email is so easy and I will tell you how it's done. This is the advice is for everyone with an email job, but you can apply it to normal human interaction.

The FIRST SENTENCE is the thing you want the recipient to do. Do not make them guess.

I want to let you know about ... (This email is to inform someone of something not to ask them to do anything)

Could you please do ... (This is a request. You want them to do something).

I'm looking into x and wondering if you can help me (this is also a request but for information instead of an action).

People do not want to read an email and even if they do read it, most people are skimming and not interested. Tell them what you want first, then provide context or other information (when you need a thing is often key). If the email is informational, you can even add "you don't need to do anything, this is just to keep you informed!" People will appreciate not having to figure out what you want from them.

If you can't articulate what you want the recipient to do with the message, you are not ready to email them. I read too many emails where I have no idea what the person wants from me.

Put the most important thing first and everyone will be impressed! AI cannot do this for you because it can't tell what's important! Only you know that, which is why you must write your own emails.

Also, if you’re even a little concerned about getting a hump or having trouble standing fully upright in your old age, this is how you prevent that. but yeah, apparently completely true.  these birds stay aloft for as much as 10 months nonstop, feed on insects, spend more energy at night (when there aren’t warm thermals to ride) and at dawn and dusk climb to 10,000 ft altitude where the 30 min slow descent is probably when they catch their sleep.

they’re unusually long-lived for such active critters (20 yrs) and they may be limiting energy expenditure by being extremely aerodynamic and narrow bodied.  Also a single bird travels the distance of about 7 roundtrip journeys to the moon in its lifetime (>3 million miles).
