WIP Whenever & Last Lines

Hiya everyone! 💙💙💙

I've been missing you all so much. Tbh, a mix of life and this animatic project I'm working on has been eating up most of my time, but I want you to know I still remember and love all of you!

With that said, might as well share some of the stuff that has been sitting in my folder collecting for a while now lol.

1. One of the panels for my abandoned animatic idea for my Batman OC, Mavis and "Your Idol". It was going to take place at a vacent church and an elite charity event was happening there. Mavis was going to charm the whole venue to their demise before Batman comes in. Veronica and a few others were going to be there.

2. The next page depicting Mavis' involvement in 'Birds of a Feather'. During Veronica's Party, a guy who was interested in Mavis until he saw her bottom half. Penguin would've heard the commotion and checked up on her and told her to join him in finding Veronica...

3. Unfinished design for Mavis in Arkham Asylum

4. Unfinished pic of Batman (2004) Penguin and Mavis landing in to cause some trouble

Just a few unfinished sketchs of another, more older, DC OC that I originally made for Young Justice but could also be expanded in the other Batman series. She is Suspiria the Strega and her dog familiar Lupo, whom like Klarion, is an immortal witch who aided her master in destroying her universe she came from and now lingers in this one. Klarion and her have known each other and have been friends/partners for a very long time and have a very confusing relationship. Sometimes their a couple and other times their fighting like cats and dogs and annoy each other often, but every time they still keep finding a way back to each other.

These are just character design sketches for my DnD characters. One is my Fighter/Monk from my first campaign who obtained godhood like the rest of her party.

The other is just a design for funsies. She's originally a NeutralGood, celtic Gargoyle cleric who is the sweetest person you'd ever meet, but in this, it's supposed to be a Evil version of her haha.

I think now is time I get back to one of my bigger projects now. I REALLY want to try and create another animatic now and get back to Mavis' "Your Idol". I might burn myself out again doing it, but it'll be worth it 😤

A little more than a month later.....

I'm so so sorry everybody.

I think...this is my mind and body telling me to take a step back from Batman for a bit. I haven't been making any progress in my Batman stuff and I just haven't been having much of a drive for it atm. This doesn't mean that I'm completely done with the series and my OC's oh nonono I love them too dearly for that.

But I am finding myself getting drawn back into old interests and am trying to exercise my brain with different art exercises. So I guess I will be posting a bit more different stuff right now and I will still post more Batman stuff when I start to feeling like it again.

If any of that makes sense. I feel like im just rambling now, but Thank you so much for being patient with me as always. 💙🫂

The Batman (2004) Mavis absolutely TRAUMATIZING Scarface when they first met!

It all happened one night when Penguin and Wesker teamed up briefly or something and were discussing their new plan. Well, Mavis is looking at Scarface and is absolutely confused and curious about how this weird little block of wood is talking and moving as it does. Why this spectacled little man is so submissive to it. She takes a keen to him immediately, bobbing and turning her head, much to Scarface's chagrin....

UNTIL SHE DECIDES YANK HIM RIGHT OFF WESKER. She even goes so far as to fly up on a high platform so she can examine him with no problems. Mavis starts banging and pulling and scratching Scarface everywhere trying to figure out what makes him talk, nearly ripping some of his limbs off 💀💀💀

Meanwhile, Wesker is freaking out and panicking for Scarface (who in his head, is als screaming for dear life like he was in a horror movie). Mavis wouldn't finally let him go once Penguin ordered her to come back down and "give him his doll back" (after not-so subtly laughing at the whole thing). Once she did, never once has Scarface been seen so damn SHOOKED. 😂

And now ever since, Scarface makes Wesker keep his distance around Mavis and/or Penguin to, and I quote:

"YOU KEEP WHATEVER THAT THING AWAY FROM ME, YA HEAR ME, BIRD BRAIN!?!?"

Hey guys! So Update...

So a bit of good news. I think I'm kinda out of my funk enough that I will be able to get back to drawing again

However, said drawings are going to be commissions for some close friends of mine irl. I'm on a bit of a time limit as well, so they will need my attention. So unfortunately, some of my Batman stuff will be put on hold for a bit longer.

But I will still be here to talk, answer stuff and be silly with all you lovely peeps! Thank you so much again for being patient with me and indulging me and my silly blorbos. 💙 🥺

Hello again! I've a question for Penguin or do you prefer Mr. Cobblepot? I don't know, the memory escapes me at the moment.

What are your three favourite species of birds? I assume you would choose at least one species of penguin, maybe emperor or gentoo or perhaps even a rockhopper?

But hat would the other two be?

Mine favorite three are:

Cassowary

Costas's hummingbird

I like the first because it looks almost like a dragon, which I WA obsessed with when I was little. The second because it looks so much like a living dinosaur! And the third is a pretty yet tough little dessert dweller from the South western U.S. to the North western Mexico area that I couldn't help but find myself charmed by.

I was recently thinking about Oswald and Mavis getting older, Oswald getting more wear and frail of age, but still going strong and in business and Mavis looking bigger, but showing little aging due to her species long lifespans. Something sort of somber to think upon....

I like to think that when his time comes, Oswald would consider Mavis his heir. Over time, Mavis will eventually reach her max size her species would get to (7 ft.) and will eventually, "leave the nest" for other pursuits. Oswald, of course, wouldnt take it too well and would behave rather selfishly tbh, but I think he would eventually come around. Plus it do was doesnt mean she'll never keep in contact with him; She would still pop in sometimes, especially if Oswald needs some additional help from her.

I've been struggling to draw more lately, but I've always wanted to do some pose studies for Eleanor and get better at drawing different body types like hers since she's also plus sized. So I've managed to sketch up a few poses for my "Dear Alice"~ 🥺💛

I wonder if Jervis is going "awooga" somewhere lmao
