I’m reminded of Scrubs. All of the surgeons were basically portrayed as the “dumb jocks” of the medical world. Amazing in their narrow discipline and kinda clueless at everything else. 

Dr. Carson was truly a top pediatric brain surgeon. 

And probably the most compelling example of a “narrow intelligence” I’ve ever seen.
