the funniest part of DBZ is that unlike a shonen rival who gets mad bc he's lost to the protagonist, Vegeta's never lost to Goku 1v1. Goku himself thinks he hasn't had an actual win against Vegeta bc he had to jump him with 3 other people. And yet Vegeta keeps malding about it. His rivalry is all in his head because he's too stupid to notice that he's just gay.
