Hello! I have noticed a bit more attention to this page within the last few weeks (probably because I started to finally tag shit), so I thought i should make an “about me” post.

For all intents and purposes, for this blog, my name is Eggs!

I’m 18 years old. Take that information as you will.

I’m transmasc and queer.

I’m disabled (mild cerebral palsy) and I am currently in the process of recovering from a major injury (ACL rupture and meniscus tear 😛).

If you are MAGA, racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, islamophobic, or anti-semitic, you probably won’t enjoy this page. I won’t block without reason, but sending hate speech to me or others is a reason.

Apathy towards others’ situations will also not be tolerated. As someone who lives in the US, general apathy is one of the main reasons we’re at this point in our nations history.

Currently, my main (fandom related) interests are Heated Rivalry, the Wheel of Time, He-Man MOTU, and Project Hail Mary, but I’ve been in fandom longer than I can remember so there is a good chance I will at least have heard of a piece of media if you bring it up - just ask! I’m always wanting to get into something new.

My other interests include (but are not limited to) music, history, writing, sustainability, skiing, urban planning, and wildlife conservation. I WILL spout information at you if possible.

Among the many amazing aspects of the Hadestown pro-shot, one of my favorites is the way Patrick Pages injury provides an excellent example of how disability does not have to be barrier to musical theatre. The way his injury was presented, especially in Hades and Persephone's dance, shows how with enough care, choreography and blocking can be modified for a disability and still present a beautiful story. In fact, the pro-shot shows how disability can not only be accommodated, but also utilized for characterization and storytelling.

Okay but the linguistic shenanigans that must inevitably have ensued on board the Hail Mary if Yáo and Ilyukhina had survived as well.

They keep English as their lingua franca since they all speak it and are used to it at this point, but that doesn’t stop parts of other languages from getting mixed in. Rocky borrows bits and pieces of everybody’s grammar. He asks for a word for something and no one can come up with an equivalent until Yáo offers up a Mandarin word and they just all roll with it. Rocky notices Yáo and Grace aren’t prone to cursing so he gets Ilyukhina to teach him some handy phrases and the two of them swear loudly in Russian whenever something goes wrong.

They focus their vocab-sharing sessions on English for practical reasons but in their spare time Yáo and Ilyukhina teach Rocky bits of their own languages and use them to jokingly gossip in front of Grace, who can pick out his name but not much else (and who starts trying to teach himself and Rocky to speak Klingon using the pirated files on the laptop just to get back at them).

They adopt each other’s vocabulary. They argue over translations. They create so many weird pidgins. They talk and they laugh and they share and even out here in the depths of space they keep pieces of their home cultures alive in their mingled voices.

2026 Adam/He-Man has officially stolen my heart and it’s wild that tumblr isn’t talking abt this guy. He’s a loser. He infodumps about his home planet on a first date and gets dumped immediately. He works in HR. He can’t drive. He gets mesmerized by his own abs. He’s convinced he can talk things out with the bad guys despite this never working once the entire film. He goes to the gym in a pink kitten sweater that says “alpha male.” He’s been arrested. He sneaks away to transform into he-man as if it’s a secret but literally everyone knows. He brought his earth roommate to eternia to prove he wasn’t crazy. He even killed Jared Leto. What a guy.
