It's pride month so I'll allow myself to express one opinion on the internet :

There are no "exact color" of pride flags.

I see more and more sites and posts talking about the exact hex codes for the lesbian flag, or the right purple for the ace one, and how it should be more or less saturated and I just want to say: pride flags were meant to be sewn in your kitchen. To be spraypainted and to be recognised.

There are no "exact colors" of pride flags because you should do them with what you have ! Nobody should care if you use a crimson red instead of a cherry red or whatever ! Be free ! wave your colors ! The colors you have !

im gonna be real and perhaps a bit mean but one thing that always weirds me out about "punk" being used as a synonym for "good" is that I cannot think of a music subculture that appeals to me less. I have trouble understanding why anyone over the age of like 22 would find it appealing honestly. There are good punk songs and the DIY thing is fun but everything else about the scene (especially the uh. very visible Nazi problem) is so fundamentally not my thing. at its core there is just too much "take that, mom and dad!" for me to take even remotely seriously

that being said I do sometimes tell my mom that random stuff she'd doing "isn't very punk rock" specifically because it makes her mad and demands that I explain what I mean and I think it's funny so. maybe I am a hypocrite? Lol
