I wanted to draw James holding Cortana. So I decided to read the chapter (the one with these two fighting Belial). And the moment when Cordelia appears in the shadow realm and James is like omg daisy my angel. 🥺

Found Family Tree Thoughts
The EARLIEST, HUMANLY possible time that the Family Tree could have been made was when Emma Carstairs was born, unless the person who made it had the power of foresight.
I wonder if the author is one of the warlocks (ie Tessa, Magnus or Catarina) or Jem. They must be trying to hide someone’s identity (ie Kit)
Does that mean we go back to present at the epilogue of Chain Of Thorns?

One of the many things I’m scared for in Chain of Thorns is James not telling Cordelia that he was brainwashed by Grace to fall in love with her. Because if we assume Cordelia cheers up in Paris and comes home happier, James might think she’s happier with Matthew, and not tell her he’s in love with her to spare her the pain. Plus, like what CC said yesterday, the whole brainwashing thing does sound a little fake. He might not think Cordelia will believe him.
Unless Grace, Tatiana or James himself gets interrogated with the Mortal Sword, any attempt James makes at explaining the Gracelet and its repression of his feelings for Cordelia will sadly be difficult for most people to believe.😢 Poor James.
What if these are hints to Fire Messages... (Matches=Fire and Hermes=Messenger)
(Im not sure if someone noticed this already...my apologies if this has been suggested already🤭)
Christopher and/or Grace see James using the match to send a message to Jem and they decide to apply it to Kit’s own theories and invent fire messages...
I mean, the use of the matches hadn’t been fully explained in ChOG. It seems to have just been mentioned once and in passing and it might not really mean anything but the image of James holding a match made me ask “WHY A MATCH?” (It could be a Stele or a Cigar) Of all the things to be holding, why that?

Seriously though... What is it with girls in love with Herondales while being in Paris and being in PAIN...
