I have some old poems like these where the poem has more personal meaning in the future compared to when I wrote it. Mentally speaking, I had no idea I'd ever get anywhere close to what the narrator is going through. I wish I had the unconquerable spirit that they do. They're going through the worst of the worst, and yet, they are unbroken. I look up to the narrator immensely. I created my own hero. Poetic. Literally. Lol.

Gonna start putting the title w/ the poem instead of leaving it down here. I actually tried following a rhyming scheme (ABACB) and using a meter (iambic dimeter). Both are quite uncommon, lol. Anyways, the poem itself is about one's reflection taking on a personality of its own / not identifying or being satisfied with what you see in the mirror. Or, I guess, the poem is whatever you thought it was about, lol.
