Why I still think Klance is endgame

After season 6, I lost hope. I was just so upset. But then I started thinking. (Plus something happened today that gave me hope)

1) The LGBT sign

This is pretty self explanatory. I highly doubt they just did this and didn’t mean anything by it. The first 2 have already happened. If this wasn’t a way of foreshadowing, and they just wanted to show their support for these things, they could’ve done it another way. One that wasn’t misleading. But no. They did it this way. Where 2 of these arcs (the race one with Keith and Hunk and the gender one with Pidge and Allura) have already happened.

2) Blaytz and Lance parallel

It’s known that the old paladins parallel the current ones. Blaytz (the former Blue paladin) was shown to be interested in a male Galra. I fully believe this was not a coincidence or something that wasn’t important.

3) Allurance not seeming to be endgame (this isn’t ship hate, this is just my opinion on why I don’t think it’s endgame)

I thought for sure Allurance was endgame after this season. But then I started thinking. Allura has shown 0 romantic interest in Lance. It all seems to be one sided. There wasn’t any blushing. The biggest thing we got was a hug. Also, if Allurance did happen, it would mean that Lance was a rebound. And I highly doubt they would do that to his character.

Lance’s big arc is next season. If Allurance (one of his main things he’s associated with on the show, and one of the obvious points next season) was to become canon, that wouldn’t be an arc. At this point, Allurance (if it were endgame) would be almost instantaneous next season. It would happen and then that’s it. An arc is when a character grows and learns and goes through something. That wouldn’t be making Allurance happen. It would be him changing and realizing something.

4) Bex’s posts on Instagram yesterday

When asked if we were going to get lgbt rep, she did a “oh honey you have NO idea. Just you wait” laugh. With the Klance question, it could go either way honestly. But “High Hopes” was playing in the background.

So yeah. I still think Klance has a good possibility of being canon. Don’t give up hope guys!

klance is cute as heck

 I really do think that klance would sing cute songs together, like I can see it now;  the two space boys just lounging around the house (or wherever) and then Lance just walks over to his mullet boy on the couch and just snuggles up next to him, Keith messes with Lances hair and Lance wraps his arms around his boyfriends waste and Lance would just hum a soft tune and Keith would join and Lance would stop and listen to his galra Texan mans and fall asleep in this boyfriends arms. Keith would just hum and then eventually fall asleep. The two wake up from their naps and realize that their sleeping secludes are now messed up, but they don't care. They don't mention it, they just realize how much they need each other and love each other.

voltron pidge headcannon:

 This is my first headcannon and idk if im doing it right, sorry in advanced if you don’t like it.

-Pidge is trans, like mtf. I’ve been thinking about it ever since I rewatched voltron (for like the 12th time) and I know this is gonna be messy so bear with me.

 -Okay so I feel like pidge knew who she was ever since she young and her parents were okay with it because they arE THE SHIT AND LOVE NO MATTER WHAT FUC- *ahem* anyway, Pidge’s parents let her grew her hair out and called her by the name she wanted, Katie. But, her brother, Matt, liked messing with her and called her by her birth name. But, she didn’t care because she loved her brother and knew he was joking.

-Her parents let the dress in the clothing she liked, dresses and all. Since the Galaxy Garrison is so technologically advanced, Pidge went on hormones and got breast, and her family was okay with that. Everything was good, no, in Katie’s mind it was perfect. But, then Matt and Sam Holt “died” along with Takashi Shirogane on the Kurberos mission. 

- Katie was broken when they when missing, but she knows something is off, soooo she sneaks into the Garrison and gets caught. But she doesn't let that stop her, so she goes back to her old roots. Her mother enrolled her into the Garrison and she disguised herself as Pidge Gunderson. Katie, now Pidge, was in a group with Lance McClain and Hunk Garret. They were both okay as classmates/ crewmembers, but both the boys were so hyperactive, and lance was invasive of her privacy, so mush that her cover almost got blown. But her chest was bonded and she had to stop taking her meds, but if it was a task she had to do to get her family back, she would throw it out the window. 

-her research had her halfway to finding her family, she was close and her secret was hidden down, nobody had a clue, she felt like her brothers glasses made it harder to people figure out who she was, and the chopped hair.

And then the first events of episode one took place. but, anyway, thank you for reading my theory/headcannon/backstory, I hope you liked it :) and I'm sorry if you didn't :(

i’m a little mad that a klance thing didn’t happen, but i’m not calling it the worst season ever. like how we found out that they’re going home now and other important things. just calm down and actually appreciate where we are now...

So with the new season just a couple days away, I just wanted to remind everyone to be respectful. Not only to each other, but to all the staff/cast of Voltron as well. They work extremely hard on this show and they honestly do an amazing job. If you really don’t like the show, then don’t watch it. Don’t complain about it online. Just leave and go be part of a show/fandom you do enjoy. Having a polite opinion about it all is one thing, but openly hating the show just to hate it isn’t okay. Another thing is, I know we all want our ships, theories, and headcanons to come true. I know there are certain characters we all want a ton more screentime and development of. But also be respectful if we don’t get those things, or even if we do. Be respectful to everyone’s different views and ships and theories. There’s a good chance this season is going to give us a confirmation on whether certain ships are going to be canon or not. If your ship is canon, great. But don’t go harassing those who didn’t have their ships become canon just to rub it in their face. If your ship does not become canon, I’m sorry. But don’t go harassing those who’s ship did become canon just because you’re upset that yours didn’t. We’re all allowed to have different views, but we still need to treat each other with respect, even if our views are different. The staff/cast does their best to make sure they fit as much together as they can. They create the show in the best way that they see it. Even if we don’t agree with everything that happens, we still need to be respectful, because in the end it’s still just a show, and these are real life people. I see a good share of hate in this fandom over the silliest things, but I also see a great amount of love and respect, which is the part I strive to be a part of. No matter what happens in this season, let’s all try to support each other and strive to be a more positive fandom so that we can all enjoy these last few seasons together.

@all the people who keep sending awful messages to Armie. Leave him alone. He’s done nothing wrong. The only thing he did was form a beautiful work and personal friendship with Timothée Chalamet. He’s become a mentor and an older brother and to the people who think otherwise and keep sending him the disgusting messages that he’s been putting on his Instagram stories, you need to stop.

Same goes for the people who have sent the messages that he should leave his wife and that he’s actually just gay and in the closet. This is the reason why friendships are ruined, because people can’t distinguish the line between fantasy and reality. Yes they played lovers in CMBYN. No, that does not mean automatically because they love and support each other in real life that they’re having sex behind closed doors. They just happened to form a beautiful bond by acting in that movie but it’s people like these people who send those messages that ruin a good thing. So just stop.
