My favorite thing about bugs is there will always be one you've never seen before
thinkin bout my wife
topless mahjong is gonna be the next big thing
this is the smithy's house. it is literally just a small house so i have an easily accessible bed near my blacksmith area. theres a dog in there named ingot but otherwise its pretty sparse.
this is the blacksmith. i have a resource pack that turns villagers into different animals based on biomes and it makes golems into bears. it has a name but i havent played in a bit so i dont recall it, but it is the forge assistant. behind it is the lava farm. i was really pleased with how the iron bars made this build look. its cut directly into the hill so from the other side the iron bars are flush with the ground, like a basement window.
here are some unfinished builds you can see from the wharf
this is a tavern. i did not get a good screenshot explicitly bc it is unfinished. this is actually like the 2nd build i started on this side of the river and yet it languishes. eventually i want to build a road under an arch thats perfectly blocked by a tree but for now it just holds some chests.
this is the guard tower and the arena. I also hate the guard tower design and want to tear it down and make it cooler but i cant be bothered rn. the arena eventually will have like armor and armored dogs and caged mobs and stuff. nearby will be the stables.
in between them both is the skeleton of the hunting lodge. i saw a cooler floorplan i may redesign it with and i dont love using mud bricks so far. its going to have like trophy displays of the hostile mobs and double as excess storage. in the hill right behind it lives my mending villager until i build him a better house.
south of the farmhouse is this other half-finished build, my wharf. straight ahead you can see the big bridge (theres a tiny bedroom inside under the stairs) which leads to another, mostly abandoned farmhouse and some livestock i need to move around eventually. to the right you can see the house that is mostly my friend's but technically both of ours. not pictured but on the right over the hill is my wip xp farm (i hit a wall with that one--accidentally built the chamber in the wrong direction so im taking a break).
this is the view of the wharf from the big bridge. it looks really lovely at night. eventually i want some houses up at the top with fisher villagers inside, and some boats in the lake.
north of the apiary and farmhouse is this lil plot of unfinished build. eventually this is going to be a huge flower garden with little stalls. right now its just stone walls. i did a test of it on creative and wasnt super happy with it and also collecting that many flowers is going to be very tedious
east of the red farmhouse is the apiary and beekeepers home.
under this birch tree is my favorite place in the whole world so far. sometimes on phone calls with my friend (who shares this realm with me) (if we arent playing mc that night and we're just talking) i'll sit right here and let it be nice background ambience. i like being able to see the bees working away at the flowers and the leaves falling from the trees.
this is, allegedly, my minecraft house. i do not like it but i do sleep there. i think technically its not actually finished (i dont think i fully closed off the roof) but i never look up there so whatever whatever
next to it is this very nice pond i quite like
This is a perfect time to read the brilliant and unforgettable graphic novel(s) Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi, about growing up in Iran during and after the Iranian Revolution, and the rise of the oppressive theocracy that persists to this day.
Both graphic novels are available free online (Persepolis vol. 1, Persepolis vol. 2)
It also was adapted to a wonderful film (co-directed and co-written by the author) which is available to watch for free on Sundance Now (sign up for the free trial)
its over. im done for. my freedom has left. (daydreaming abt playing minecraft at work)
"i ate too many cookies" is truly an ageless problem. an unlearnable lesson.

i think my job rehired someone to become a lead instead of asking me again which is like. fine. and i also dont really know bc they Didnt Say Anything abt this person being a lead? but it still feels kinda shitty bc they asked me to become a lead shortly after id started when i was far less confident And i made it clear i was still interested in it and obvs being a rehire this person has more experience than me but man. i gotta care less abt my stupid ass job man.
watching a video and this guys got a shirt with the text from the rosetta stone on it thats so sick
