Under the table, Mira’s sneaker nudges Zoey’s boot. It’s a rhythmic, absentminded contact, but it sends a hum up Zoey’s spine— a low-frequency buzz that makes the rest of the room go blurry.

Mira doesn’t feel like someone she has to earn. Doesn’t feel like someone just out of reach, someone she has to stretch herself into shape for.

Huntr/x succeeds at sealing the honmoon AU where they completely stop caring about PR after. Mira curses out anyone she wants. Zoey throws down with a stalker while spitting absolutely VILE insults. Thats already crazy to everyone there, then the other girls AND CELINE join in. All pulling WWE bullshit but its working somehow. Bobby is sent into a coma. Twitter stans go to war. They start wearing diabolical t-shirts together. "Never mess with an asian american woman from burbank who believes in Bigfoot, loves her girlfriends and whom is an avid collector of turtle merchandise" Zoey vs "rock paper scissors" Rumi. She likes bad puns. Mira is sent into a coma but she also thinks its funny seeing homophobes' reactions. An interviewer starts pressing for an answer to an uncomfortable question and they just. Leave. Just polite little smiles (rumi) and glares (zomira) and they get up and exit the building without a word. They make tiktoks with fans on the street and when people ask them about security they make one showing off their proficiency with weapons of all kinds. The thirsters never go hungry. Zoey makes a 3 hour video essay abut how much she hates CEOs and coporations. Rumira is in the background doing the "clock it" hand gesture the whole time. They play pop-up shows in tiny venues just because they can and they like seeing the fans. They also make no attempt to cover up that they are literally magic. Someone makes a post asking if anyone can see rumi? Glowing? And she has fangs and vertical-slit pupils? Gets reposted by rumi like "lmao yeah my dad was a demon" people are confused but go with it. Someone asks about maintaining dyed hair. "I've never died my hair." "... sorry, do you mean you go to a stylist?" "No, I've never had my hair done by a stylist either." "Oh...." "yeah." Zomira laughing their asses off in the background. People in their live chats keep getting more and more specific and get increasingly crazy answers until they just give up.
