remember when I made that post that basically said "don't forget about a southern hemisphere when worldbuilding" and a lot of people said "ahhh but what if my fantasy world is flat or shaped like a kia sorento? checkmate I Write What I Want" and then you go and find out that people actually forget that the southern hemisphere exists in real life, like right now here in earth
my worldbuilding posts have two key components:
here's a thing you should think about to make your world more believable and cohesive :) it could really enhance your plot and characters and it's also fun to think about it, when you know how the real world works you can make more vivid fantasy worlds!
and you also should think about it so you think about something else that isn't your own fucking hemisphere pedazo de gringo imperialista
So half of the fantasy planet needs to be experiencing summer when its winter in the north? Is that the endpoint of this post? An episode of the magic schoolbus?
I don't know what to tell you. Read the post again.

out: Cassandra of Troy speaking in mysterious metaphors and oracle verse
in: Cassandra of Troy talking like uncle Colm from Derry girls so she’s so boring that nobody takes anything in
im sobbing op
You can't get rid of it, 'cause you remember it all too well.
nobody gets me. not because i’m really complicated or anything but because i won’t tell anyone anything real about me
you can leave the house with a bare face and suffer no consequences btw. if you're a woman you do not have to wear any makeup
places and events i've worn no makeup to: every job interview i've ever done (i'm employed), every doctor's appointment i've ever attended (i still get treated), every shift i've ever worked (nobody gives a fuck), every pub and nightclub i've ever been to (they still let you in)
so Robin and Steve weren’t even hired— they just took over that entire radio station. they walked in, yelled “DIBS” and the rest was history.
see kids? if you and your best friend can’t get hired together for the third time, then it’s time to make your own business (and steal a building in the process)
No DNA Test needed, that is Mama...
every time i come across a post mad at steve or mad at dustin saying either is at fault like maybe its media literacy maybe its empathy issues or maybe its just people forgetting they're basically kids. Steve isn't even old enough to legally drink yet. Dustin is not an adult. not only are they all so so young but they've spent their formative years fighting for their lives. they probably havent felt safe since they were like- 11 and 16. they've watched multiple people they love be taken or mauled or murdered brutally in front of them. those kind of things change you fundamentally when you're not in your formative years. I feel like their reactions are perfectly reasonable.
the problem with the gay hockey show is that the acting is great, the lighting is great, the music and costuming are great, the care taken is incredible, but you can't recommend it to normal people without sounding like a pervert
for $1 name your favourite fictional lesbian. and no "straight female character popularly fanonized as a lesbian" or "this male character is a lesbian to me" allowed
hate when I see the comment "big news for unemployed people" on internet drama. really discounting the dedication of us chronically online employed people. does my 15 minutes in a public restroom at work scrolling online mean nothing to you...
JOE KEERY as STEVE HARRINGTON Stranger Things 5.03 | The Turnbow Trap
Post-Starcourt where Steve thinks that once the adrenaline wears off, Dustin’s going to realize that he electrocuted that Russian to death and start freaking out about killing someone.
He decides that he needs to preemptively curb the freak out.
Except that Steve is exhausted, concussed, and on drugs so the best way he can come up with to make sure he knows he’s not alone is to declare, “I killed a guy once.”
Robin: Why did you tell Dustin that you killed someone? Did you actually kill someone?
Steve: No, but I don’t want him to feel bad about killing that Russian. I don’t want him to feel like, alone about it ‘cause he saved us.
Robin:
Robin, also on drugs:
Robin: Dustin, I’ve killed three people.
