no babe i find your strange and creepy and perverted vibe to be very cute actually
I will always prefer Wizards Is A Job over Wizards Is A Species as a trope.
Wizarding should be something you work towards. Being a wizard is like being an architect, or a painter, or a chemist. Itâs something that makes your relatives ask âSo are you still doing that or do you have an actual job nowâ
I do have a fondness for how gothic and erotic lit had a certain barrier to entry. Like I do love more ppl getting into the vampire chronicles and I'll always be happy to have more Loustat fans but those books are weird and melancholic and erotic and philosophical and constantly testing boundaries and asking questions. And it feels like ppl are expecting or wanting "the vampire diaries but gay". The books have uncomfortable moments and the characters will do and say and believe things that make you double take but so much of the books are just "how moral can I be when nothing matters and I'm immortal?"
This isn't just a tale of gay vampires. It's a haunting philosophical treatise about life, mortality, morality, death, depression, incest, rape, love, regret, and the Pain Of Time. It can be fun and it can be gross and it can be wonderful but it's not for the timid.
This
being mutuals with really skilled artists is so funny. van gogh & monet are in the tags of my shitposts telling me they love my sense of humor. I feel like roger rabbit
You will not die at the hands of quicksand. Ask me how I know this
Please, how do you know this?
quicksand does not have any hands
Imagine if people watched Interview with the Vampire and it inspired them to think about how the past is in a very real way inaccessible to us and memory can be misleading even when you're not being dishonest and different people can have different experiences of the same event that feel emotionally true and are very real to the people who experienced them even if they contradict each other and often you will never be able to know what really happened and how this can make repairing damaged relationships difficult and threatening to a person's sense of self
free my girl she did all that and thatâs what makes her such a compellingly complex character. thatâs her essence
"The sculpture in the image is âDas Schicksalâ (Fate), created in 1905 by Hugo Lederer. The sculpture portrays fate as a ruthless woman dragging two vulnerable bodies by their hair.
The work is currently located in Ohlsdorf Cemetery in Hamburg, Germany."

like to be clear i enjoy many things that are bad. but if they were bad and big, that would be a problem. a bad show/film/book is inoffensive to me. a bad show/film/book that is being given endless accolades makes me feel like there's women in my yellow wallpaper
a neutral reminder that while being a hater can be a fun indulgence you can never find long term happiness by spending your time constantly hating on things and you canât make long term friends if the only thing you have in common is something you both dislike; you need to love and be passionate about things. being petty gets old. you need to be a lover too
