they're unreal engine-ifying my childhood game...nintendo hired that man....this is ocarina of time in 2013
it looks greasy and stiff, the textures are overdone. i'm not sure about the armor he's wearing either, i could understand them adding that to adult link at some point but i don't see how it'll make sense for child link at this point in his life. and i'm assuming by having his hat and shoes off they want to make it make more sense for him to be in bed but if that was the case why does he have the armor on? why not just put him in an entirely different set of clothes as pajamas? plus making his bed sheet green against his green tunic is just bad art direction, he blends into the scene and feels like a disconnected shape.
i'm hoping they just showed this way too soon and this isn't a good shot to demonstrate their art direction but i'm not really sure how to feel about it yet.
(also maybe i'm slightly annoyed seeing so many people praise the look of this when probably many of those same people got upset at my hd OOT N64 gifs from several months ago. like ok when indie nonprofit modders do it it's cursed but when the multi billion dollar corporation does it it's awesome? and tbh the look of this really does remind me of those "unreal engine remakes" we'd see every few months in the 2010s that looked terrible but apparently that's what gamers wanted)
i'm sure there will be a couple of people that disagree with my sentiment or get upset with me in the comments but whatever, i'm gonna hold my full judgement until we see more footage. these teaser trailers always kind of suck
rest in peace to this diva

guys this bedtime story is really scary can you tell me a different one
see every time i see this status i get angry because i’ve played through literally every scenario in rct1 and there is no place where this is a thing. there is never more than one park per map. and in rct2 you can’t make that happen i the scenario editor either. it is not remotely within the game’s functionality to simulate two discrete parks and these games were coded in assembly for christ sake so it’s not like someone modded it in by adding the line “int const TOTAL_NUM_POSSIBLE_PARKS = 2;”. there is no conceivable way this post is anything close to true and even though i know how writing all this out reflects upon me as a person and even though i know exactly how meaningless and trifling of a takedown attempt this is on some random facebook screencap with hundreds of thousands of notes im going to post it anyway because i’m too petty to have any say in the matter
Lord help me I'm playing bg3 again
thank you Cathy your support means the world

RIP Anthony Stewart Head (1954 - 2026)
The 72-year-old British actor also had roles in shows including Merlin and Little Britain.
British actor Anthony Head, best known for his roles in TV shows including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Ted Lasso, Merlin and Little Britain, has died at the age of 72. Head found international fame as Rupert Giles in hit supernatural teen show Buffy in the late 1990s. He went on to have a recurring role in sketch show Little Britain, play king Uther Pendragon in the BBC's Merlin, and appear as former football club owner Rupert Mannion in Ted Lasso. "He passed away peacefully of complications due to pneumonia, surrounded by his family," his daughters Emily and Daisy said. His daughters' statement said "it is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our extraordinary father". They added: "It has been, and forever will be, an honour and a privilege to be his daughters, and to have witnessed firsthand the impact both he and his work have had on so many." They also said they knew "how dearly he will be missed by friends, colleagues and fans of the show he was in", adding that he "loved his job very much" and "always considered himself incredibly lucky". His family acknowledged that "his legacy will live on" and said they considered themselves "lucky" to have watched him doing what he loved throughout his career. Head's other credits included The Iron Lady, Persuasion, The Inbetweeners and Manchild.
RIP anthony head, you will be missed.
