#fbf long time friend, client and collector acquired this mid 19th century Japanese trip-tych woodblock from us over 10 years ago and we custom framed it way back when in this gothic style finished corner frame finished in warm antique 12k white gold leaf over red with contrasting base. The matting is a deep bevel continuously wrapped pinger silk with matching gold leafed bevel. This is a Pablo Picasso Madoura ceramic plaque we recently custom framed for a client in a unique design. The plaque is nestled in a spline joined natural walnut cap profile measuring 1/2” at the face and 3/4” depth frame that is secured to a 4” wide 2” outside depth scoop wood liner continuously wrapped with linen. The liner is surrounded with a 1” face x 2 1/2” outside depth cap profile with a white lacquer face and natural walnut sides, with top and side splines. One of my favorite vignettes here at Brentano’s. On the vintage console are original plaster relief canvases by the must humble, creative artist I am fortunate enough to know, Justin Stutzman.
