    SHIT!    so enwrapped in her current task ( which was beating the crap out of a suspect in a serial killer case ), malia hadn’t heard the footsteps approaching.    not until they were too close to ignore, and definitely too close for her to be able to properly conceal her claws and glowing eyes.    shit, shit shit.    blue eyes fading to their normal brown, the coyote simply stares for a moment, trying to find the right words to say.    the right LIE to fabricate and get out of this situation.

Malcolm Bright is accustomed to weird. His father is a serial killer, he thought that was as weird as it got. But somehow, he finds this girl — woman, really — crouched over his suspect. Glowing eyes, sharp teeth and nails. He blinks the, chest already heaving from the chase. Is that.... blood?             “.... Enough.” His voice remains steady, though his mind is a whirl. Just what did he stumble onto? Is she a hallucination? He hasn’t had one in quite some time, but... it’s possible. He reaches for his hand, rubs his thumb hard into the soft center of his palm. She’s real.

Jealousy is an emotion Malcolm usually faces only from his father. Someone jealous of who he spends his time with? Now why would that be the case? Malcolm is not some soft entity to want to be around. He is jagged edges and broken parts, rambling together in a false charade of a functioning man.  He looks to Stiles, surprise writ in ice blue eyes. Though it soon softens, fondness invading in its place. “He’s just my partner for this case, Stiles. As soon as it’s solved, we’ll part ways.” 

As if he even has to explain himself? No. But he will, because he wants to.
