Wait. Wait. Wait. Tell me they do not make Ginny (actually Virginia) date a guy named Wolfe from her poetry class because their couples name could then be Virginia Woolf.

Ginny's poem ending with 'I inherit the sin and I become the monster I was born from' to her resorting to Georgia-level manipulation to save the person she loves, it was always gonna come to this.

Say what you want about the show but one thing Ginny & Georgia does REALLY well is let you make up your own mind about the characters. Like everyone does bad things but the show makes sure you understand the circumstances behind their actions

Also Scott Porter / Paul deserves an award for his emotional range this season, his facial expressions are a main character, I never could have imagined this from the dude who did Hart of Dixie.

When a TV show spends the entire season having a murder trial but they just keep going after accidentally sharing inadmissible and highly prejudicial testimony with the jury. "We can't put that back in the box" sir that is a mistrial...

There is no way Elizabeth goes home at the end of the third movie, absolutely not, she is out on her ship killing English sailors so that her husband has to come ferry them to the next world and she can see him. There is no way the pirate king, the ocean's own psychopomp, is waiting ten years to see her husband. When Will shows up in the later movies he has a couple of barnacles attached to him which means he's been testing the limits of the curse, no doubt by hooking up with his pirate king wife while his crew is busy collecting souls of the sailors she just murdered.

I think my ultimate problem with Normal People is that when you actually find the love of your life, you make the choices that keep you together. You don't let the important words go unsaid. You take turns chasing your dreams, so neither of you has to sacrifice. You actively choose to build a future together, instead of doing what you each want all the time and just hoping life brings you back to each other eventually.

You hold onto that person and you never, ever let them go.

Just finished watching Nobody Wants This and its refusal to buy into the "millennials can't have functional relationships" trope is what makes it great. You can have whatever you want if you put in the work on yourself and make the choices that prioritize the relationship.
