The Scooby-Doo Project (1999)
fun fact this special scared so many kids so fucking badly (b/c the blair witch aspect was played weirdly straight) that CN never aired it againÂ
youâre telling me this is real and not a shitpost
I seriously thought this shit was fake until I looked it up
that one time a parody of a fake found footage film is believed to be fake until footage is found.
its high noon
today in âthings iâm disproportionately emotional aboutâ:
itâs facial reconstructions of prehistoric humans!!
like, look at this part-homo sapiens, part-neandertal man from well over 30,000 years ago:
doesnât he just look like a dude youâd wanna hang out with? like he probably washes dishes in the kitchen with you, and has excellent weed
what a charming fellow. what stories he probably has to tell. iâd definitely go shoot the shit with him on Contemplation Rock after iâd finished my dayâs work carving a bone flute for the autumn hunting ceremony, or whatever
people have been people ever since people first became people, i tell you what
they all had lives and histories and families and friends and dumb gossip and games they played and total bullshit in which they believed wholeheartedly
they all argued about the nature of the world, and of themselves
they all sang songs
they all drew pictures
they all buried their dead in graves, and they buried their dead in graves well before they did a lot of that other stuff. they buried their dead with flowers, with panther claws, with the bones of animals theyâd killed, with the bones of family members who had died at the same time or earlier. they buried their dead with their arms folded across their chests
they fell in love
they took care of their old and their sick and their disabled, even when it cost them
they made new things, and worried about what the new things meant for people everywhere, as a whole
Oh I like him he looks like he would appreciate my jokes
This dude would have great stories at a get-together and would bring some really great homemade dip.Â
I feel like he really digs Lo-Fi Music
This guy was sculpted by Alfons and Adrie Kennis, and their Neanderthal reconstructions are all delightful.Â
I love the kid in the last picture a lot- they look like a kid, just a little kid whoâs done some mischief and is trying not to laugh about it.
I also adore their Lucy- theyâve struck a wonderful balance between the falling angel and the rising ape.
And their Turkana boy- thereâs something precious and wistful in those eyes.Â
But my favorite has got to be their reconstruction of H. floresiensis.
Just look at her. Thatâs a face of someone whoâs lived and seen a lot, but also a face thatâs known love and joy and laughter. Thatâs a face with a soul.Â
They are all beautiful
What an amazing work, Kennis & Kennis!Â
I really need everyone to see me throwing a piece of bread into a bears mouth.
I actually have never been more proud of anything in my life and WILL reblog this every day until I die.

IZ- fashion for wheelchair users
âWe believe wheelchair users should have access to the same styles and trends everyone else has, without ever having to compromise comfort.
Our clothing has signature cuts and styles to fit a seated body shape, falling and draping naturally without interfering with wheelchair mechanics. We use top-quality fabrics that look beautiful and feel luxurious.
Our Easy Zip Back option in coats is just one way that weâre making layering up and staying warm easier than ever. Discreet zippers in the back mean that Easy Zip Back coats separate into two individual pieces.Â
Our signature âL-Shapeâ means that IZ coats have the length you need over your lap while looking sleek and clean so you donât sacrifice your style.â
The IZ Collection goes up to a 2X and has a wide range of masculine and feminine clothes. Â Â
They look gorgeous, but be prepared. They are expensive.
This is so rad
Right now, theyâre throwing everything out for far lower prices - because theyâre closing shop. So if you need/want any of these, now is the time to get it, I guess.
