I KNOW zagreus would have been a great big brother to melinoe. Why? He never fell for the cycles of abuse and negligence in their family. He loved wholeheartedly, listened, and tried and tried again for his family AND his own happiness. He would have never, ever allowed his younger sibling to go through the hardships of his own childhood. Melinoe would have been LOVED and CHERISHED
Please supergiant games make them interact
If you live in the European Union, know that in October there will be a vote to pass Chat Control a law that will read anyone's private messages in the European Union.
So if you are in the European Union please contact your MEPS (members of the European Parliament via this):
Learn about the EU Chat Control proposal and contact your representatives to protect digital privacy and encryption.
If you aren't in the European Union please do share!

So if this passes, all messages, videos and images sent by someone in the EU would be scanned. I don't know what would happen if someone outside of the EU sends a message to someone in the EU.
However, if you are friends and family in the EU, all messages they send to you will be scanned. So yes, you could be affected by this even if you don't live here.
Note that you can send mails to MEPs (members of the European Parliament) if you aren't from the EU. The website up there has the email addresses of all of them and email templates in multiple languages.

please actually reblog this post this time, as this one will gut national parks for more fucking paper. we have 14 days to stop it, giving us literally no time to do so.
they are literally betting on us to not do anything about it, because they're that desperate on keeping control, and ruining lives for everyone, but themselves.
Hi, I work in the National Park Service. You're right that American recreational areas are threatened by this proposal, but the Parks are NOT among them. This pertains to lands administered by my colleagues in the U.S. Forest Service only, which is bad, but the National Forests are under the Department of Agriculture instead of Interior for a reason. They are there for resource management with optional recreation amenities provided as well. Sites like Redwood NP, Yosemite NP, Cedar Breaks NM, Big Cypress NPP, and the Everglades NP are forested areas that are part of the Parks and will still be protected.
There is only 14 days. Regardless of what happens, say something.
Leaving a comment took me under 1 minute. Please.

Everyone: Please please please don't write your books in Google Docs. Frankly don't use Google Drive for personal stuff.
Their terms of service say they take down stuff like content related to terrorism and trafficking, but this Google Sheet was literally a list of movies I'd watched this year and books I'd read.
Holy smokes, guys. It's way worse than I thought. Google actually took away access to every single file of fiction writing I'd made on that account. BUT I backed it all up on Scrivener yesterday by coincidence. So I haven't lost my work, but I could have just lost the 12,000 words I've written this month after a year of really intense writer's block. I honestly don't know what that would have done to my psyche.
Please be careful out there, folks! <3
That is awful! If you're looking for a gdocs-like replacement, Ellipsus @ellipsus-writes is a queer friendly, anti-AI equivalent with online syncing and sharing - I've been using it for almost a year now as a replacement for gdocs and absolutely love it.
I do still back up all my work to local storage on LibreOffice too though, thank goodness you backed up to Scrivener OP!
That's it, I'm done. I'm downloading all my gdocs and not using it any more.
some zagrei for your viewing pleasure
Too many people will pass around "always trust your gut!" and "your intuition never lies" content when actually your "intuition" isn't immune to either propaganda, bigotry or trauma reactions. Which is important to be aware of actually
And all of that freehanded wow!

I think every passing day my art style becomes more and more like a 90s animated film. So this is kinda like Berserk if it was picked up by DreamWorks lol
Should I add little character portraits like these to the print shop? Would anyone be interested?

Ass Don't Have Dopamine
I know this is supposed to be a joke post, but Ass Don't Have Dopamine is a much better name for it.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder sounds like it was named by outsiders who are annoyed by people not paying enough attention and being too active by society's standards. It says jack shit about how it actually feels to experience ADHD. It implies that punishing them in order to force them to pay attention and stop them from being hyperactive is successful treatment for ADHD.
Ass Don't Have Dopamine, on the other hand, describes it perfectly. It's caused by a lack of dopamine. If you understand what dopamine does, then you understand what it feels like to struggle to find things that give you dopamine.
If the condition were officially renamed to "Ass Don't Have Dopamine", it would lead to a much better understanding.
