Can't believe we almost got Dan Howell falling off a chair in 2026. Its the last one on my bingo card! Come on Dan. Embrace your inner clutz for my self-imposed fulfillment list for a social constructed definition for a period of time we call the year of our Lord 2026!
This shot is so important to me. Will is in focus.
It's not supposed to be about him. It's a moment about Lucas and Max: they're bickering cutely, as Dustin tries to radio his girlfriend.
This scene is about relationships. The relationship between Dustin and Suzie, and the relationship between Lucas and Max. Even the "ghost" of Mike and El's relationship as they're notably absent.
Will isn't in a relationship; he's the only party member who isn't at this point in the story.
And yet, the lens focuses on Will for just a brief moment.
Look at the wistfulness in his expression. The admiration. The quiet ache. He wants this so bad. To be loved, and to love someone in return without fear.
He even continues to watch them as they walk away together, hand in hand.
Will Byers is the most romantic character in Stranger Things.
And that's my biggest "byler proof" (because everyone has their favorite evidence) — romantic characters are supposed to find love.
He's been written as a loverboy and romantic hero. There's only one way to go from there. Predicting a romantic union between Mike and Will is just basic pattern recognition and media literacy, as we've stated many times before.
This shot just takes the cake for me. It makes it so obvious.
The end
Ya'll know about the four horsemen right?
Conquest,
War,
Famine
And Death?
If 2020 isnt the end then Idk what is.
War- Persian Gulf Crisis
Famine- Coronavirus
Death- The Death of George Floyd.
Conquest- ???
What's next? Fucking North Korea nuking us all?
I can't take this anymore.
This is some Supernstural biblical shit!?!?!?
Welp. Looking back on it we have 2 options for Conquest:
Russia's invasion of the Ukraine
Israel's genocide in Gaza...
Just bring the end already 🥲
I hate the logo 😒
So the tl is dying and I'm back in this shithole. Haven't been here since the purge. What did I miss?
I’ve seen some people complaining about Dean/Jensen’s reaction to Cas confessing his love… you guys aren’t seeing it clearly. They’re cornered. Dean is sure that he just ruined everything and has doomed him and his best friend and the whole Chuck damned world. But Cas CAN’T let Dean die. So he does the only thing that’s left to do: he HAS to face his feelings for Dean so the Empty will take him and kill Billy. It’s the ONLY way for Dean to survive. So he does it. He confesses his love to Dean. Dean is stunned and confused about why Cas is saying all this and why he sounds like he’s about to do something stupid. He doesn’t know what to say or how to react, he’s panicking from all of his losses in the war against Chuck, his anger at himself and his own behaviour, his potential death, and now a sudden love confession. But he doesn’t have much time to process and react to what Cas is about to do. Then he’s catapulted out of the way and looks up in time to see the darkness consume Cas and Billy. He sits there as everything just happened CRUSHES him. Then Sam starts calling him. AND HE IGNORES IT. The world is about to END and he IGNORES the one person who he thinks is his job to protect. He ignored SAM’S phone calls in the middle of a fight to save the world because Cas just confessed his love for Dean, and then sacrificed himself. He just lost Cas. He lost Cas, AGAIN. But this isn’t like the other times that Cas has died. He doesn’t just shoulder it and move on, or shed a tear next to Cas’s body. He hasn’t had enough time to process it and get angry enough to break things. Instead he reacts differently than any other time Cas has died. He ignores the world that’s falling apart around him, his brother whom he loves most of all, and full on breaks down into full on crying tears into his hands. He doesn’t bear the grief and deal with it later. He doesn’t silently shed a few tears and briefly close his eyes. His eyes are squeezed shut in agony and he is full on crying. So yes, Dean/Jensen DID react to Cas’s confession. And he did so in a way that is something that Dean would actually do, yet he’s never done before. If you guys don’t feel Dean’s agony in this scene then you’re not paying attention.
Never thought I'd become a day drinker. But is there ever was a reason Destiel going canon would do it.
When we asked for CD (canon destiel) we didn't mean for Castiel Dying. Supernatural you gon fucked up!
when you think you’re out of tears but then you decide to get drunk and watch it again lol i’m so dumb
Never thought I'd become a day drinker. But is there ever was a reason, Destiel going canon would be it.
deans gonna find sam covered in blood and say “cas is in love with me” and sam will take one look at the blood and lack of cas and just assume his brother commited a hate crime
Are you kidding? Deans gonna lock that confession away in the same closet hes been in his entire life. We love (not really) a baby in denial. 🙏
I’ve been reblogging all these posts about Dean’s lack of reaction to cas’s confession (cause y’all are savage and it’s hilarious) but i gotta say my boy seemed more shocked and speechless than emotionless...
Finally someone said it. People dont understand that for people who go around bottling everything up their entire lives, it's hard when you are confronted with such vast emotion like what Castiel showed Dean. You're shocked and speechless, because "you've never outwardly portrayed your emotions like that" and not to mention in the face of a love confession when you yourself are closeted. Its alot. And he was dealing with the impending doom and blindsided by Castiel suddenly being ripped away from him.
So the destiel love confession being homophobic? NO!
Maybe the timing wasnt right and Dean was just really shocked and overwhelmed and scared of losing Castiel? Yes. definitely.
Just because we didnt get a kiss, or Dean saying I love you back, doesnt mean it's not just as important. The 12 years of slow burn hasnt just been in our heads! Its real. Castiel love is real and though Dean hasnt said it, doesnt mean he doesnt feel the same. Hes not big on words or "chick flick" moments, but you dont always need to say it for the people you love to know.
Dean shows his love to Castiel by everything he does.
And you know what? Maybe it will he left vague and ambiguous and maybe we wont get the pivotal moment of Dean confessing too.
But what we have is enough for me.

The Bruise as a Kiss - Cinematic Queerness and the Violence Between Dean and Cas in 14x13
AU!Cas beating up Dean in 14x13 Lebanon.
Firstly, a disclaimer:
NO, I do not condone violence in real-world relationships.
NO, being hit in real life is not a sign someone really loves you.
NO, a bruise is absolutely NOT a kiss IRL (unless in the context of sane, safe and consensual BDSM, not the gross fake Fifty Shades kind, or a consensual hickey).
However, because of the history of homosexuality on-screen - as prohibited, repressed, and often, therefore, signalled covertly via cinematic metaphor - in the world of the sliver screen, violence between men has often been used as a substitute for other kinds of (more forbidden) touch.
Remember Barbara Kruger’s on-point political art?

Like the War Doctor in "day of the doctor", Dalek Khan: Last of the cult of Skaro, in "journeys end" decreed "No More".
The writers should really do a story between The Doctor and Dalek Khan that dissects the way in which they are two sides of the same coin.
They both sought to cease the destruction that the Daleks and timelords enacted together.
Destiny’s Child ➤ Am I close?
Cas is just one big ‘WHY ARE YOU THE WAY YOU ARE?’ in this scene and it is such a mood. lol
That last one is the biggest #Done face is I've ever seen one!
